I guess it was the heat. I gave her some Pedialyte and tuna juice and brought her in the house. She has calmed down a bit, but her heart is still beating fast. I am just trying to get her to drink more fluids. I live in a rural area, so the nearest vet is about 45 minutes-1 hour away.
My outdoor cat keeps yowling and rolling around. It is hot outside, about 97 degrees, but she is always outside and has never acted like this before. I have her in a cage now and she is rolling around, still yowling, and pooping (whole poop, not diarrhea). What could be causing this?
Thanks, so far so good. I tried all the suggestions last night, and he calmed down after a couple of hours. I will be caging him every night until he goes to the vet on Friday.
