Hi everyone, on Sunday I noticed my cats inner eyelid was irritated and had what maybe looks like a scratch on it. I’m not 100% sure it’s a scratch but as you can see from the picture there’s very clearly a mark of some kind so I kinda stumped on what else it could be. He doesn’t seem irritated...
I have fostered quite a few cats and have been taking one of my cats out on walks for about a year now, although there’s a big break during the winter when I don’t take him outside because the snow is taller than he is. My other cat is not really into walking but he’ll sit in the backyard with...
Yeah, I also thought it might be acne, which would explain why there’s so much missing fur. It would probably be itchy too. He has a vet appointment coming up anyway next month so I’m not going to take him now since he doesn’t seem bothered, but I’ll ask when we go next. Thanks!
Thread starter here — accidentally posted without finishing & cant figure out how to edit on my phone. Anyway, just wanted to know if I should try to clean it or put something on it?
I noticed this morning that my cat had a little scratch and missing fur on. Sorry for the blurry pics, he’s squirmy! There’s no bump or sore or anything so my first thought was that he scratched too hard, although that seems like a lot of missing fur. I cut his nails yesterday, so it’s possible...
I have a sisal mat scratcher, and vertical sisal scratchers. Like the cardboard ones, he’ll use it if it’s in a different room... but when it’s between the carpet and anything else he’ll always pick the carpet. I attached a picture of it in a different reply
No, I guess I didn’t explain it well. I’ll attach a picture of the carpet. This is a corner he doesn’t scratch much, but at the edge you can see a piece he started to pull up. His scratching is ripping the fabric, so in other areas there’s a bunch of little pieces sticking up like the one at the...
Oh, one more thing. Since the carpets woven the back side is identical to the front, so if I ever get him to stop I can just flip it over so you wont be able to see where he ruined it. Otherwise (and other than the fact that it’s my parent’s carpet) I’d honestly just get a new one that was...
I have two cats and for the most part scratching isn’t an issue. But the little one will NOT stop scratching one of my carpets. They have multiple vertical and horizontal scratchers both upstairs and downstairs so that there’s always one of each type available if the other cat is using one. I’ve...
