She is still doing good but unfortunately she isn't feeling a lot of trust in me right now. She spent 3 night's inside, in a large kennel and is not having anymore of it. She was gone all day yesterday after I let her out. I called for her throughout the day and evening. Not sure if she is going...
Thank you! She seems to be back to normal now. She gets along pretty well with the dogs, thank goodness. I think at one time, shortly after i first started befriending her, she was trapped inside a building for awhile so she has a fear of not being able to get out but we are working on that. In...
I know she has eaten quail before but I have seen their feet left behind so I just didn't know. I agree with the successful species point of view, but it doesn't mean cats never suffer from a gut perforation.
She is doing great. She seems to be adjusting to being inside a kennel, in the house at night too. Last night was her second night in it, but the first time with the upgrades I made to it. I'm sure she appreciates the safety and security of no threats at night. And of course the warmth. I've...
Hi! Here is a pretty affordable diy for an insulated shelter. Probably doesn't work for cat's who feel threatened because there is no "escape" but depending on where you put themand what your neighborhood is like, they might be used by some of the cats. There are many other links too. One thing...
Today is going much better. My cat Jade spent the night inside and I let her outside this morning and have been coaxing her in every little bit to warm up. My makeshift litter box didn't work out so I don't know anything except she is urinating. She is eating and drinking good today. I'm going...
I picked her up without her seeming to hurt but I did it supporting her feet and not grabbing her around the belly. I will feel her abdomen when I move her inside. What is cerenia?
Update: tried to bring her inside and that got her moving but I can tell she still doesn't feel good. I'm making her a secure kennel inside do I can monitor her eating/drinking and elimination.
I know she has been eating her food. Maybe less than usual but a decent amount. I will try to get her up and about and see how she is moving and whatnot.
Raw, she had caught and killed the quail and I had separated the leg from the rest and next thing I knew she had consumed the whole leg and foot. She crunched the bones but I'm pretty sure the whole thing went down in one long but broken piece
I don't know if she can digest and/or pass this without problems. It happened two days ago and she seemed comfortable that day. I can't tell if she is in any distress right now because she is staying on her heating pad because the weather got colder
