My cat was put on predisolone for lymphoma. She started eating again and was doing great for around 7 weeks. She then quit eating and we had to euthanize her a couple of weeks ago. The vet said with predisolone only they can live for a few weeks or months. So sad.

I would never consider surgery on a cat this age. The age expectancy of an indoor cat is 13-17. Why put the poor kitty through it.

My cat was losing weight so she just started taking Mirtazapine. Her blood work and urine we're fine. She wants me to try 6 doses and then see if she will eat on her own. Have your cats quit taking it and have started eating again?
