    Nutritionally complete premix?

Very important criteria: Animal product-free, e.g., no liver powder, with the exception of eggshell powder. I'm looking for a pre-mix that basically functions as a complete multi-vitamin and mineral supplement I can add to ground raw food for cats that are allergic to just about everything...

Can I give freeze-dried raw for dogs to my cat?

I'm looking into homemade raw and cooked diets, but at the moment I'm stretched really thin and need to find something my allergic-to-everything 12-year-old IBD cat can stomach. She's currently on Hill's Prescription Diet z/d and, while she was thriving on it several months ago, she's just not...

Probiotic formula for IBD cat that hates probiotics

Renew Life Ultimate Flora changed one of the inactive ingredients in their probiotic formula and now my 12 year old, Vivi, refuses to eat any food I sprinkle it on. We tried an extra small amount of NOW Probiotic-10 Powder, which doesn't have any fillers at all, and she doesn't like it, either...

Question about fish oil and cat with fish allergy...

Is a food that contains fish oil safe for a cat with a fish allergy? I've been told that the oil doesn't contain any of the proteins that cause an allergic reaction, but I'm not sure and not willing to take a chance unless I know for certain this is true.

    Redirected aggression emergency: need advice.

My two boys, Tyger and Tavi, saw a cat outside, I think it came up to an open window they were close to. It sparked an immediate cat fight. There were some issues with aggression and territoriality as teens, particularly with Tyger, but that's 99.9% under control now (they're 7 yrs.). Well...

Tentative IBD diagnosis in one cat, and his brother has it, too.

If anyone with experience could weigh in and help me make sure we're doing all the right things, I'd really appreciate it! I'm feeling incredibly stupid right now because I thought some cats naturally have a lot of trouble with hairballs. As long as the two brothers (littermates) were getting...

Wet Food Outside On Hot Days?

I've started feeding a feral and have a small stockpile of really good wet food my cats won't touch. I'm wondering if I can leave it outside for the feral on a hot day and, if so, for how long. It would be in a shaded area.

    Is This A Regular Visitor?

My three cats were hanging out on the sunporch when I spied a little gray stranger cross the street and purposefully head straight for my front door, then around the side of the sunporch to where the bushes provide cover. It caught sight of me and we looked at each other for a moment, then I...
