Yes it breaks my heart to see my 10yr boy acting so withdrawn in his house! He has chewed his legs and fur,and I just worry about his health,took him to vet,bloodwork,was ok,said stress,what can you give or do for a cat that's stressed,besides remove the thing stressing him!
