I have a kitten who has an unusual looking iris. It looks like many strands of veins or string like pattern. There is no clean stop at the pupil like a normal iris. I will post 2 pictures of 2 different kittens. 1 looks normal while the other one is in question. Zoom in on photos.
Is it a...
Her belly is huge now, very obvious pop belly. She can bearly clean her behind and she normally cleans up perfectly. I had to wipe her clean after some left over BM. She seems to spend less time bending in that direction lately.
Vet visit next week. Will update if I get images of kittens
Oh...
Her belly is rounded. Idk if im overthinking it but feels more rounded now than when I first noticed her pinking. I will have to get a picture of her size to share.
Nov 15 I checked her belly for signs of pinking. They were tiny and white. She had a heat cycle not too long before I checked her on the 15th of Nov. Maybe 1 or 2 weeks before that. On Nov 26 is when I checked her again, first set of pictures of this thread. Week later(yesterday) I noticed the...
This is a week later. The dark specks/dots are not dirt by the way. Its like a stain doesn't rub off. From what I was told its from pregnancy. I noticed a week ago as show on the first pictures of this thread.
She has had a few heat cycles. I didn't witness breeding because my boy is normal a lazy old man in a young body!
Last time I assumed my girl was pregnant but it must of been a heat cycle symptom. Her nipples got darker and slightly enlarged. Wasn't pregnant even tho she was acting like it and...
Update. Her nipples are definitely dark hot pink. Not big and swollen. This would be her first pregnancy so I think the nipple enlargement will take longer.
Her weight has been constant. At 150/151oz since the 19th of Aug to today Sep02. Not sure if her weight gaining will slow down and start...
I will keep tracking and comparing all her pregnancy to figure out what a estimate is for weight gain compared with the number of kittens. And also keep track of each kitten. A lot of data to enter and track, but that's what I naturally like to do. Figure things out and make sure I have...
Oh and she has gain about 1lb already...hope she isn't just getting fat. 1 lb in a short period of time. She was in the 8 lb range as her normal weight. Today she is 150.87oz / 4278g / 9.43lbs...Aug 17th
How much weight should I expect each day? or in stages by weeks??
I weigh her each day.
My female is gaining about 1oz(more or less) a day in the past 15 days. Yesterday I calculated she has gained 10.5oz from Aug 01 to Aug 15.
Her first day of heat was on July 19 for about 4 to 6 days. No...
Awe very cute! I'm late to the post. Was one of those lynx? Looks like the last picture the one on the right got the lynx gene. Did you post pictures of the kitten you kept and any updated pictures of how it looks now =)
Very true. My new female breeder did go into heat shortly after my post. It appeared the heat cycle does have an effect with its line. Spoke to a breeder of 20+years and confirmed some of her cats male or female come into heat or are ready to successfully breed a female depending on its line. So...
There you go assuming. Lol oh my god. Your absolutely a disrespect.
I been rescuing since i was old enough to talk. I have raise nb kittens without their mother. Kittens still with umbilical cord. Before you start assume. All 4 survive, the most Chunky happy kittens ever. No mama cat to help...
You must of not read my previous response..I clearly said some breeders have okay methods, good, great, over the top...so on. The problem is the way someone assumes several things, and normally in a negative way. And here you are as a great example....to correct you...I NEVER said my ways are...
Seriously, you feel breeding at when a cat is 10 months is a serious health concern? I think its people trying to force their way..its a power trip. If what, if we dont apply your beliefs we are now putting our cats at risk? A cat can be 2 or 3 years old or 10 or 12 months old. The risk for...
I done more test than any mentor or 90% of breeders. I might have my first breeding attempt but not totally clueless. As for breeding age, its my preference when I breed. You wouldn't like having mothers tell you how you should raise your children and anything different is wrong. There is no one...
I have a ragdoll female who had her first heat cycle for 3 days. Non stop calling and desperate to have my male breed her. But since both are first timers, breeding was unsuccessful. She was 10 months old in mid May, which I was fine she didn't get pregnant. Now its mid July. No calling, no heat...
