    Two New Kittens

With my incredible sewing skills(or there lackof), I created a tiny kitten diaper with elastics and panty liners so I can change it several times a day. So far, so good. If this keeps up, she won't have to stay cooped up!

    Two New Kittens

It's been a frustrating time with these kittens. They're on albon now and have been for four days. There is still no improvement but I'm hoping after the full dose there will be. Robin is anemic, Batman had a fractured rear leg, and Sydney is now leaking through the back door constantly and...

    Two New Kittens

Not at the moment! But we'll be picking up some neomycin in the morning.

    Two New Kittens

Of course Sydney would get an infection in her GOOD eye. I knew this would happen. Just didn't think so soon!

    Two New Kittens

Yes, they're on antibiotics too. She's seen the shelter vet. Sydney is a beautiful grey swirled tabby, I'm not sure what you'd call that but her markings are incredible and she is so beautiful and sweet. I think she's gotten the hang of eating now.

    Two New Kittens

I also got to visit Big and Little today, they are so big I can't believe it. And they remembered me like they saw me yesterday. They break my heart, the cuties. Tomorrow, they get spayed and neutered!

    Two New Kittens

I guess I should have waited to make an update, because it turns out I have another problematic kitten! She's approximately 4-5 weeks old (the boys are 6-7) and is partially blind. We're not sure if she's entirely blind or not, but it's only been four hours and I've watched her run into walls...

    Two New Kittens

Big Tony and Little Rascal left the building last week, and I brought home two new kittens; Batman and Robin. They were given to me not because they need bottlefed but because Robin is having a hard time putting weight on. They have both been getting 4 mLs of fluid twice a day, fed wet kitten...

    Two New Kittens

Welcome, officially, Big Tony! You can see his sores in the picture, but the swelling on his chin went away and he keeps growing and getting better every day!

    Two New Kittens

Little man saw the vet today but after a brief examination of his chin concluded and assured me it was nothing but an allergic reaction to the rubber nipple. I disagree, he's had it since I picked him up. So I suppose all I can do is keep it clean and continue with the Clavamox. Ill post a...

    Two New Kittens

Penelope moved up to 9 cc per feeding! Little man is eating about 6. Here's the man of the hour! He's a sweetie. Love them both to bits.

    Two New Kittens

Doing just fine. :) Little mansm swollen chin was an issue during feeding probably because it hurt. But he finally latched last night at his 10 o'clock feeding! :yess: So there's some more evidence Penelope is older than she let's on-- She uses the bathroom by herself and doesn't need to be...

    Two New Kittens

Velouria/Penelope this morning. I got the little boy, he is roughly 11 days old. Much smaller and underdeveloped than P. He is SUCH a cutie. I noticed he has a swollen chin so we're putting him on some liquid clavamox. More pictures of him soon!

    Two New Kittens

This is the only picture I have of yet. She looks bigger on camera! She's about 3.5 oz.

    Two New Kittens

Gaining weight and eating well! She hasn't really pooed since I got her, on Thursday. I thought I'd cleaned some up when I changed her bedding but now I worry maybe it was just lint :dunno: I gave her a poop bath and oil. Nothing yet.

My Pregnant Cat Is Bleeding (emergency)

How is she now? Any signs of labor? Cats usually bleed during the birthing process, but it's abnormal if she doesn't pop out a kitten. And very serious as well.

    Behavioral Issues After Neutering

I don't have any advice for long-term results, but feliway may be a great product to invest in. It might be wise to give the same vet who neutered him a call. Anyway, best of luck, and try feliway!

    Congested Sounds After Bottle Feeding

Maybe their fat bellies are the problem! If it's sort of a grunting noise, that's probably the case. But you're doing everything right by them and it doesn't sound worrying at all! In my own experience in puppies and kittens, I feel I've had similar situations. Especially the older babes.

    Two New Kittens

I think I'll bring in the little girl to meet the vet who tried to save her brother's life. (I think he is more torn about his death than I am.) Maybe seeing her will bring some relief. And I can use her to learn how to tube feed. Poor little spike had no will to live. I saw that in the night I...
