Hi,
I have been reading about Polyprenyl Immunostimulant for FVR cats.
I plan to put my FVR kitty on Polyprenyl.
I would love to hear feedback from members who had put their beloved cat on Polyprenyl and the outcome?

...with anyone and this is not normal. They vet said that if the test comes back and they believe she truly does have FIP, they’d recommend polyprenyl immunostimulant. I’ve seen conflicting arguments about this online and don’t know if this is the best course of action. What other tests or...
...He suggested Lauricidin and also Collodial Silver. Have anyone had success with this?
Also I'd like to here from people who have used the Polyprenyl Immostimmulant - Polyprenyl Immunostimulant - VetImmune recently and see if it has helped their cats with FHV/Rhino. Any side effects?

...antibiotic (Doxycycline)? Oral, drops, or injections? Should I continue the L-Lysine for immune support, or maybe switch to something like Polyprenyl? Is there anything additional I should do for my older guy, considering his immune system is weaker?

...result of viral infections that get worse with secondary bacterial infections.
If the URIs remain a constant issue (recurrent flare ups) there is a medication called Polyprenyl Immunostimulant that has been very effective for our rescue, but is it $$. But, cheaper than treating URIs all the...
We've had very positive results with the Polyprenyl, so if you can save up for that, that's great! The treatment is 15 days. Twice daily doses.
In the meantime, as your vet about putting Albus on Famciclovir (can be used up to 3 times a day, but most don't need it more than twice daily). And...
...move in and out, so I think he's breathing more through his mouth. It sounds sniffly. :disappointed:
I'm really interested in this Polyprenyl treatment, though. I'm going to talk to my vet about it. We probably can't work it into our budget until January, though.

I strongly recommend it. I couldn't bear to...
Silverpersian- I have never heard of Polyprenyl before. Is it only gotten by prescription from the vet? Is this something that you have to give every day? My cat has horrible eye herpes, he has to have lysine twice every single day. Very interesting...
...problem which I again thought was par for the course for a long-haired cat.
Our second cat has FHV, and he gave it to our third cat. Polyprenyl immunostimulant came to the rescue. The second cat had flare-ups so severe that his eyes wouldn't open. They happened at the first sign of stress -...
