Most of my cats get canned food on a schedule, especially my overweight male, Buddy. But I have two others who need to have access to food all day. My one female, Smudge, left without food all day or overnight, will eat so fast, she immediately pukes it up. The other male, Timmy, has anxiety issues and gets bullied by Buddy and another male, Puck. So I have to leave him food in different places in the house so he always has access. Otherwise he will poop outside the box (he wears a calming collar and we have Feliway diffusers). I've tried putting his food up high, but Puck always finds a way to get to it.

A lot to unpack here lol. Any suggestions?

Hi typix,
I have a cat who needs to be fed separately as the boy has to eat not so palatable renal food but adores his food and will scoff my girl's at the drop of a hat. So I got her a microchip feeder and it works like a dream. It took a long time to train her to use it as she's quite a nervous cat, but now she knows it's hers. Not cheap, but worth it. :) SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder

Thanks mani. I haven't considered a microchip feeder but I'd definitely look into it if it works. Thanks for the suggestion!
