How long have you lived in your current home ?




It will be 14 years for me this year

My entire life.



I've never moved. Lived at home for college, recession hit and couldn't afford to move out, finally at a place where I could but it just doesn't make sense. The furthest I've moved was down the hall to a different bedroom.

We've been in our house since 1984, so that's 35 years.

I live here since February 2014.
I moved a lot and I will continue to move in the future.

9 1/2 years. This summer will make 10. Home sweet home. We put almost everything I made for several years to pay off debts and save for it. I found out I was pregnant with DD the morning after we decided to put an offer in on this house. It was all worth the wait.


The other day I had a dream DH and I took the kids to our old house; which was a trailer DH bought at age 20. For some reason we'd left it exactly as we left it and still owned it. The kids thought it was neat to explore it but they kept opening the front door and thinking they could run outside and I kept trying to tell them that it's not that kind of neighborhood; it's not safe to just run all over.

So yeah; this is home sweet home.

We bought this place 22 years ago and don't plan to move until we're too old to get up and down all the stairs.

Ive been here 5 years. My previous home was only 3 miles away but was on the side of a mountain with a tiered garden. Now I am in the flat.

Nine months.

29 years.

Since May 1981, so coming up on on 38 years in a couple months.

currently: 10 days...

Before that: 12.5 years..

March 31 will mark 14 years in this, our first house.

Approx. 25 years and I'm ready to move. I never thought we would live here this long.

It will be eight years in June.

17 years this past Feb.

16 years as of 10/2018

In May it will be 3 years. Moved to the outskirts of the middle of nowhere for my job because I was such of the commute. Ended up leaving that job after a year and started working at a shop that is a quarter mile from my house. Cut my commute from 35 minutes one way to less than a minute!

January 2003.

13 months. I lived with my parents in my childhood home before that.

We have physically been in our home for a couple of days shy of four years. We have owned it for 4 1/2 years. We will have it completely paid off this coming September, and, we hope never to have to move.
