Hello,

My cat is 1 and a half years old she is black and white and after two weeks holiday I came back and notice she has a bump with scabs on the nose bridge. I can touch it so apparently it doesn't hurt. No other symtoms she behaves normally.
Of course I went to the vet yesterday, sha analyzed a piece of the scab and said it is just normal cells, she wanted to consult with other vets before doing a biopsy.

I was just wondering if some of you have seen something similar, or know what it could be.

Thanks!

I dont know, but hopefully it is nothing much, and your vet can take care of it easy. Pretty girl! Sending her hugs! :grouphug:

Was she confined at all while you were gone? Looks like an injury from being in a crate or cage and rubbing against the wire, or sides. Or she pulled something over on herself, or had a blow to the nose. Especially where it appeared while you were gone and was not a gradual thing. Looks more like an injury than a tumor, etc, especially with scabs. I would get a second opinion before having more injury to the nose with a biopsy. Then you would know if one is absolutely necessary. All the luck!

No there was a catsitter coming to my place everyday, she had all the house for herself and could go out for one hour per day. She usually spends lots of time outside when the weather is good.
I think, if it was an injury it would probably hurt when touching it. Don't know, I will see what the vet says today.

Cats are very good at hiding signs of pain. A scrape would most likely not be painful. Good luck at the vets, I'll pray for everything to be OK!
