I've heard people in the human CBD group rave about Koi but haven't heard much about it with pets. Just be sure to use a tincture (not an oil) that is unflavored. That could be said with any one you use.

If you are in the same group as me, there is a pinned post that gives a list of recommendations. I think there are 6 listed there but of course there are many others to look at (these just happen to be the most recommended ones for pets). Many of these brands also let you buy samples so you can see which ones work best for your pet.

I was really hoping this would make a difference for my cat, who has stomatitis that recurrently flares up despite having had a full-mouth extraction. I thought it might help for pain and inflammation. Sadly, it had no effect that I could see, so I stopped using it when the bottle was empty.

What brand were you using? Just like everything else, some things work better for some cats, while others don't. It may be worth it to try another brand. Also, there are a lot of things that look like CBD oil, but are actually hemp seed oil, which doesn't do anything.

donutte donutte It was Super Snouts phyto-150 full-spectrum CBD oil. They publish all of their lab results on their website and are also available over the phone to answer questions. So, I feel like the product was correct, it was just unhelpful for my cat.

That is good! I've not heard of that one but good to hear you did the research. Also, how were you administering it? I know way it's administered also impacts how much of the CBD is absorbed. Were you able to rub it on his gums at all? I imagine that may have been difficult with stomatitis.

Did you up the dose? Sometimes you have to give more but dont ask me how much cause I know you can give too much
I ended up ordering the koi naturals. It's in a MCT oil so it will be better for him than VG/PG. I hope he gets some relief. I'm going to use it as well need to get off my anti anxiety medication

So I tried the oil I bought. I wanted to be the Guinea pig before giving it to my cats. This stuff made me feel horrible. And I'm not a newbie to smoking. But this stuff made my arms numb, my chest hurt, ears are ringing. It's like a really bad high without the high. I'm not putting my cats through this

Jeez, that did that to you? I'm not familiar with that one, but good for you doing the whole guinea pig thing. Wouldn't want my cats feeling that way! I tried the CBD Pet I give my girls and it didn't have any effect on me. Seems to be working well for them though. My younger one, Samba, actually has grown to love the taste of it and goes straight for the dropper when she sees it. I also got myself a 250mg human grade one and took it regularly for a few weeks out of curiosity. It may have some health benefits, but I didn't really feel any difference while taking it. I know that these supplements can sometimes take weeks of regular use before showing effects though. I may seek out a stronger one because I do believe in the power of the stuff. There's been enough research done on the subject that it's pretty hard to deny the benefits cannabis has to offer with or without the THC.
