Hi everyone! When I was a little girl there was the sweetest, prettiest cat that lived in my neighborhood that became very special to me. She looked just like the cat in this picture but her face was more gray and white rather than calico. I am hoping to adopt a kitty of my own this year and would love to be able to find this breed or type of cat. Does anyone know what it is? The blue eyes and short nose seem to be distinguishing. Thank you so much!

Not a defined breed- but a point of some kind. A dilute tortie point Domestic Shorthair. Your best bet would be to check out your local shelter to see if there's any cats there that you fall in love with.

@Anna Catherine Carroll, isn't it hard when a cat's face sticks with us for so many years!!
I'd look for a blue tortie point. Good luck searching, there are a lot of subtle variations! Remember that young kittens can often look so very different once they grow into adult cats. Keep us posted!

I do know what it's like when a cat's face sticks with you! As a child, there was a neighborhood cat named Eddie that I absolutely loved. He would come into my yard, and I followed him around and pet him. When I got Charlie, the shelter staff told me that he was their friendliest young cat, and when I saw him the first time, I thought, "he looks like Eddie!"

I'm like this with grey tabbies! When I was little we lived in an apartment complex where there were cats everywhere, but there was this one big grey tabby Tom cat I deemed "pretty cat" who visited us every single day for some love. I've been partial to big grey boys ever since.

This is my little one, I know it doesn't look exactly like the one in your pic but maybe it will help you look for something similar as she is a ragdoll breed. There are few variations to the colour of the coat so I hope that helps

Yep - a colourpoint shorthair. Take a look at Mama Africa's stunning Missy:

You might consider looking into Lynx Point Siamese as well:

Welcome to TCS, by the way.

Thank you 1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine for referring to Missy.
to Anna Catherine Carroll Anna Catherine Carroll ; I hope you find a lookalike. I got her through a co worker; Missy was born from a ferral mum (picture below) and a Siamese dad. She was about 8 weeks old when she came into my life. She's 1 year and 10 months now.

Missy's mum (won't let anyone closer than this)

N Nikky - do you have a "whole cat" picture of your girl?

My kitty I believe is a lilac seal point she looks allot like what you are looking for, she's beautiful. If interested I was told that my kittens mother just had a litter of 2 kittens that look just like her if interested, and if you are in or willing to come to Los Angeles.
