Yes, we did try the plain FF chicken flavor... ate it for a few days, then turned her nose up at it. She does eat FF, plain Fish Feast. Fish is all she will eat which I really dislike giving her all the time. I have tried zillions of different brands of chicken, beef, duck, rabbit, etc...

Dior is up to her usual "stuff". Initially she liked the Gourmet Natural Chicken And Liver. Shortly after I purchased a case she changed her mine!! No worries (LOL) I have lots of different brands in my "warehouse" of foods previous cats did not like!

Thanks for the heads up on catinof.org. I'll check it out. In a pinch, I"ll add up the % of protein, fat, moisture, fiber and ash. Then I subtract that total from 100. Sometimes, though, for whatever reason it doesn't "Add up" correctly... like the answer ends up a minus number !! LOL

Hi All !! Purina got back to me re the carb count in the new Fancy Feast Gourmet Naturals.... The Carb % For The White Meat Chicken And Liver Pate Without Gravy (There Are 2) Is 0.64% As Fed. Cheers !!!

Thanks for your thoughts... your reasoning is good, but Dior is VERY laid back. I'd rather have her on a schedule. I've had her for a few months, and she has never woke me up early in the am. She walks so slowly to the kitchen sometimes I wonder if she even wants to eat. She always does though...

Ha... Great thinking on your part... I was being more black and white (I usually always am!). So, I never thought of calling her and if she wakes then she eats... if she falls back to sleep and does not eat.. no worries !! Excellent !! Works for me.. Cheers !!!

YUP ! I have a reason !! Here is a link to an article on Cat Centric.org on "How Often Should You feed Your Cat?". Very interesting, lots of good info. The article recommends a minimum of 3 times per day and 4 if you can handle it. Here's the link... How often should you feed your cat?

Hi All... I am changing my cat's eating schedule from 3 times a day to 4. The question is if it's time to eat and she's sleeping do you wake her, or let her eat when she wakes up which screws up the schedule. TIA.
