    [packable] Outdoor enclosure ideas

I want to find something I can pop up in a yard or on porch so my cat can safely get outside and enjoy the birds and fresh air. She doesn’t have many teeth left, so I worry if she gets loose. She’s a rescue and I don’t think she’s ever been outside (other than me taking her out while holding her...

After tooth extractions, what to ( Possibly, as I know no ones the same) expect?

She’s going in for the cleaning in the morning and from what the vet said it’s the upper furthest back ( both sides) that’s in question for extraction. It’s hard to tell if it’s one tooth or if it’s 2 that are very close together, looking like one. So I was curious on the dry food after recovering.

    Litter Box Smell - Help!!

Have you tried adding baking soda to litter? I normally do a full change once I use a container up an move on to opening the next. I have a tiny efficiency apartment, so I have to be very on top of it. I normally only layer the bottom of the box with something like 3-5inches (instead of...

I Keep Getting Hives Every Time I Scoop Kitty’s Litterbox Help!!

Yeah, if you wash your hands throughly it’s enough. Even keep anti bacterial wipes nearby if it’s still a nervous thing for you. But like a previous person said and to add to it... particals are already on nearly 100% of every surface in your home. Think about it, if they bury their mess each...

    Show Us The Whiskers

Nope! And I was thinking I was a weirdo for saving my cats. I grew up with two dogs, it was hard when they were gone, and I still miss them. I save all the ones I luck upon while cleaning. Just some memory of my girl when that day comes?

Teaching An Indoor Cat That The Outdoors Is Alright For Walks

I have a backpack cat carrier. I take my cat for walks with it. Mesh front and sides that can be seen through. Think it provides the feeling of I’m secure, as she let a dog face to face and no hiss or negative response. Just wide eye and curious. Maybe something like that for a while? Not...

How To Get Rid Of Fleas In Hard To Get To Places?

Vacuuming often. Vacuum up a trail of some diatomaceous earth, salt or baking soda at the end of each time. Let it sit for a few hours before dumping if it’s not a bag vacuum. But I’ve only tried DE, and a half/half mixture of salt and baking soda but heard borax works too. A year ago I had a...
