Previously the litter box was in the "cat" room. I had a gate with a small opening that the cat could go through but not the dog. However I was in the cat room one day and the dog just came barreling in like no big deal. I'm figuring this had been happening for some time. For a few weeks...
The dog would go in a covered box for sure. That would not stop her. I am hopeful that this height will be ok for the cat. I guess I will know soon enough.
I wasn't sure where to put this. My dog (small a 13 pound westie) has decided that she wants to go into the box and eat poop. Ugh. In the past week I have been raising the box up higher to make it stop. The last time the top of the box was at 17 inches. I think the dog still jumped in. Now I...
Unffortunately the only place she can be free from the dogs is the room she started out in. I will not force her to be in the comon area but my house is small. I can't force her to stay in the "room" either .
I guess I will keep the litter boxes in both areas and let her decide.
I had read about difffusers but do not know much about them. I was considering checking it out but wasn't sure. I know it should help but with so many changes going on I didn't know about adding something. My head is spinning right about now. Can you point me in the right direction for the...
Long story I know but I am at my wits end with worry.
My poor cat. A few weeks ago my cat age 6, fixed, started to not use her litter box. I had her to the vet so that is all good. The cat had her own room/area. The two dogs (small dogs) were not allowed in the room and had not even...
I feed wet Friskies and have since I got her as as kitten 2 years ago. I feed the pate flavors. Rotate about 5 of them. She loves them and is healthy. Hair is shiny and smooth. Recently started adding some dry for her evening meal mixed with the wet and some added water. I tried Wellness...
Maybe that would be an option. She doesn't eat dry food. Except she gets 4 pieces of dog food when I put the dogs away for the night. She likes the treat. I guess I worry that if I give her dry cat food that she won't want her wet food any more.
I wouldnt have a problem with leaving dry out at night. The dogs do not go into her room. I just don't want to get her started on dry and won't go back to wet. I want her primarily on wet. Now she eats mostly fiskies wet (morning, noon, after work and bedtime I do feed her 4 dry dog foodies...
