Thank you, we just adopted a female cat, Marnie, who's had a hard life and our hearts just went out to her. Working with her and watching her slowly heal is a great distraction and healing for us as well.

Our cat, Tangie, used to do this pretty much every night after we turned lights out for the night. She would go downstairs and yowl for a couple of minutes. I used to say, she was "singing the song of her people". We lost her last year and what I wouldn't give to hear that song again...
HA! Love this! I'm a girl so not sure I can pull a deep growl off, but I'll give it a try. Usually, I just yell, "Knock that off!" and the cat goes running. LOL
