If you end up having to search for babies, discreetly track mom after she eats and if you find them put them in a closed carrier directly behind the trap. Usually mom will go in when the babies are little. Set up a large dog crate inside and cover it so she knows she is safe.that should buy a...
Many times a few hours or up to a day before they go into labor they eat a whole lot and or have a large bowel movement to clean out. Also, nature allows a birth to be delayed if mom has been traumatized , such as being trapped or other stress. That is a beautiful cat.
Thx for the support. She is confined until the open area is closed which helps also. She is forced to put up with me petting her and putting ointment on the wound. Then giving her a wet food treat.
This awful pic is a dilute torti i tnr'd 2 years ago. In 15 yrs of rescue i have never had to pull in one for an injury. I have found them hbc but never this. The doc thinks it was an abscess from another cat bite. This was 2 wks ago. Although she had surgery and stitches and made it her life...
I put out water and change it daily, and make sure the feeding station area is dusted very lightly with 5% sevin dust to keep ants away. I hate chemicals but years ago i learned that % was safe . And even a hungry cat wont eat food crawling with ants. Also any cats im able to briefly touch get a...
Seriously? Dude. The cat wants your yard as his territory. Make sure hes neutered. Accept him for who he is. Any food you put out will attract cats birds possums raccoons the neighbors dog and ants. No way to just attract kittens.
Bless you for keeping at it and im sorry for your loss.its devastating whether its your first or 15th to lose one.. over the years ive encountered plenty of those type whack jobs. Be careful they dont threaten your safety. Try and trap when those people are not home? The rewards when you see...

Its highly unlikely you have to worry about rabies. Usually soaking a bite in the hottest water u can with epsom salts will bring out any infection. Thankfully your doctor didnt report the incident to animal control who may have destroyed the cat . Then cut off the head to check for rabies. Try...
He currently gets daily cbd oil, pet tinic, triple with dex eye ointment and occasionaly 1/8th of a mirtazapine for his appetite. Sometimes his breathing is affected by the weather and chlorpheniramine has been prescribed.
A year ago my 20 yr old cat was diagnosed with an overgrowth of benign salivary gland tissue. For the last several months every 4 to 6 weeks he gets a depo medrol shot to control the swelling that obstructs his breathing. Has anyone dealt with this or used an nsaid to control it?
