Lol I was just trying this yesterday. My parent's cat loves being chased so I thought it might work with Maia. Nope. She just looked at me like I was crazy and refused to participate.

She doesn't even watch the toy anymore. She used to. And her tail would start swishing and her butt wriggling as she prepared to pounce. Now she will literally close her eyes and sprawl completely out as soon as I wave a toy around or throw some of her mousies. I know she's not really sleeping...

She has 2 cat trees, one that's massive. They both are in front of windows. I have a bird feeder in one window (the other is on the 2nd floor so I can't). She also has plenty of automated toys. She just ignores them. I will read these articles, to see if there's anything new. Thanks!

The vet did an xray to check for them because she's had one in the past. But she didn't see anything and since she's already on prescription food (after the first one), she didn't think an ultrasound was necessary.

I tried both a tiny bit of food and a lot. Neither worked. I came home today to find the pill perfectly clean in the middle of the empty bowl. The vet told me not to crush it, but in the past, I've crushed things on her food and she just goes on a hunger strike until I give in. Pill pockets...

I also only live 3 minutes from my vet, but she does not do well in the carrier. Last vet trip, she peed all over the carrier in those 3 minutes. And she got super stressed from the dogs and cats there.

They gave her a one time injection for the antibiotic, because it's very difficult to give her medicine. The pain meds worked out though because they were very tiny pills that I just mixed in with her food. I did wonder if the pain meds were the reason the symptoms went away. Do you think since...

No, she managed to pee in the carrier on the 3 minute drive to the vet, so the vet said she couldn't do a urine culture. She's the only animal here so that wouldn't be it. I have been sick lately, but otherwise no stress. And it started about a week before I got sick anyway.

This is awesome, thanks! I totally didn't know they made them for wet food. Because I've tried some of the ones for treats and she never even tries to get into them. But she's been obsessed with wet food lately (she gets it as a treat to enhance her dry food), so this might work!
