I will try, I stoped bracing it because it kept swelling up rather fast. She is doing so wonderful though. She is the fastest, most adventurous and curious one of the five. She follows me everywhere and when i go to sweep around the litter box she is right there fixated on the broom. Any advice...
I have been bracing Mango's leg now for the past 4 days. I keep it braced for a little over an hour each time because im so worried i wont beable to tell if it is swelling. It has not improved at all. I know that isn't long to be working with it, i just expected it would be a tiny bit...
Oh there is no way I am putting little Mango to sleep, sorry I should of said that. I'm very tight on money and don't think I can afford a second oppinion. The only way I was able to take her in is because it was a walk in clinic and a $9 exam fee. I'm betting that it is twisted limbs or some...
Took her to the vet today and it is ear mites. He gave me two doses of medicine i am to use a week apart after cleaning her ears. Hopefully it helps. Thanks for all the advice
So as some of you know i found a pregnant stray at walmart and brought her home and she had kittens the next day. One of which was born with a deformity. I think its twisted limb, but the vet is saying is an angular deformity and the cat should be put down or the leg should be amputated. After...
Kiwi - the pregnant stray I found - has had increadably dirty ears. It looked like ear mites (my old kittens had them) so i have been using corn oil. It's day 4 and the nastiness keeps coming back full strength. I keep cleaning them and it keeps coming back. I'm going out of town tomorrow...
I really want to keep her but so we i'm not sure yet. I may let our friend take her (her cat is 20 yrs old and she LOVES Kiwi -the mama- and keep the twisted limb kitten -Mango- since she may be harder to home if she doesn't outgrow her deformity. But at this point i would love to keep them all...
I felt her stomach and didn't feel anything. She still has a small round belly, which doens't fit her thin body. She isn't as clingy as she was this morning, and she doesn't eat nearly as much as everyone says she should. Then again ive only had her 4 days and she hasn't eaten much this whole...
She is doin good, the bleeding stoped. It was only a few drops. She is not aggresive or shy and increadably friendly kitty. I can't understand why anyone would just dump her. She is the sweetest cat ive ever had the pleasure of caring for.
Ok so the stray i found that had her kittens monday night is acting all clingy and vocal just like she was before she gave birth monday. I just noticed a VERY small amount of blood back there and I'm really worried. I'm going to try and take her to this very low cost vet, but i dont know if i...
Well i looked up deformities in kittens and one of the things i found was "Twisted Limbs". I read everything i could on it and the pictures of the kittens looked very similar to Mango's hind legs. After two therapy sessions it looks a teeny tiny bit better. Its other hind foot is still curled...
So the stray i found had her kittens and one has twisted hind legs. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about bracing. I'm worried that if i brace them the mama - been callin her Kiwi - will reject the baby or try and chew off the braces. Any ideas? I havn't been able to find all that much...
havn't felt any movement but she is still a bit round. I know when i had my boys i stayed round for awhile lol but i didn't think it was the same for kitties. I will probably take her to the walk in vet tomorrow to get her checked out and tested FeLV/FIV and see about maybe getting her shots...
So i found this pregnant cat at Walmart Sunday night and she had 5 kittens last night from 12am - 4am. She still looks a little pregnant - is this normal? She is rather small so I am guessing she is not full grown. I noticed today that one of the largest of the 5 kittens is deformed. It's left...
