Not eating- When to be concerned?

Thanks. I will definitely try this. So far she is eating just a little bit at a time. A little less energy than normal, but seems to be reasonable for the amount she is eating.  I've gotten her to eat a bit more of her canned food and she had a few bites of her dry.

Not eating- When to be concerned?

Hi, Just wondering when I need to start worrying? She had diarrhea yesterday morning and must have had some soft stool during the day because I came home to a poopy butt. She didn't really eat her dinner but did eat the handful of treats I gave her after her bath. This was last night. Just...

    Furminator?

For those whose cats don't like the furminator you should try the Shedzilla. My cat didn't really like my furminator but will let me brush her for a good 10-15 minutes with this. I think that it works as about as well as the furminator did, with less static because the teeth are a little farther...

    Furminator vs Shedzilla

Hi, I bought a shedzilla (or something that looks really similar) and feel that it works about as well as a furminator type brush that we used to have. Plus, my cat will actually let me use the shedzilla on her. She has medium length fine fur. No double coat. I tried using both brushes on my...

WALKING A CAT ON A LEAD RIGHT OR WRONG?

I have tired walking my cat on a leash (I have a harness not a neck collar). She pretty much acts like a dog who is not leash trained. You are either pulling her to move, or she is trying to escape. Needless to say, I don't walk her anymore.  She however, LOVES being outside. She is a door...

    Cat Beds ADVICE NEEDED!!!

I bought a small bed with sides for Olive when she was tiny and would put her in it when she fell asleep. I have it at the foot of my bed now and really like that at night when she settles down to sleep, she will lay in her bed instead of trying to sleep all over me and or the pillows and I...

    "Meaty" grain-free wet food

Nature's Variety Homestyle is chunky. It looks like sliced pieces with a good amount of gravy. I have only tried the Duck & Chicken Flavor, but my cat wouldn't really eat that one.  She too dislikes pate, non-pate kinds she likes are Friskies, Tiki Cat and Weruva. And just for reference...

    litter lockers

I don't have a litter locker, but I put my used litter clumps into something like this: Once the lid is closed I can barely smell anything. My container is in a very small bathroom, and I live in a small studio apartment. I put used litter clumps/poops into a grocery bag and tie it loosely...

Diamond food recalls, now include 12 brands

Solid Gold now has a website: http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm303061.htm?source=govdelivery and so if I am understanding correctly. For Taste of the Wild. My state is not one of the affected states. And my production code is only 9 digits long (so doesn't have the 2/3 and X). However the...

How to choose a healthy food

Willowy, no they only have the salmon formula for cats. Which is a good point I forgot to mention about fish not being the primary source of protein, I will add that to my original list. Thanks.
