Thank you! My neighbor said that during warm weather, she uses it about once or twice a week (just in case maybe?), unless she sees a problem, then she uses it more often and as needed. But her pets play outside, so maybe that's why. I think my kitty will be a strictly indoor pet, so I don't...
EDIT: I don't think that title makes sense... Sorry...
Okay, so when we (humans) want to go to sleep, we turn off lights. We do this for our babies and our children too. We turn off the lights, and the darkness helps lull us into sleep.
Is it totally the opposite for cats? After an...
I think of cats who use the human toilet as a novelty of sorts. I think it's fun to hear about a cat who uses our toilets, and even more fun to have one that does! And I have been thinking about it (recently watched an old episode of Shark Tank that featured a training kit), but I also wonder...
We don't have any issues with fleas -- maybe because my kitten is young, maybe it's because she doesn't go outside... But, it doesn't hurt to start looking into some of the different options, I guess.
One of my neighbors used to use Capstar, but is now using the generic version, Nitenpyram...
What surprises me about this, is that upon researching them, I see that they gave away hundreds (?) of kits back in July or August as part of their research and/or promotion, so you'd think there'd be quite a bit of reviews or experiences posted about this by now, right? -- unless people were...
I'm so thankful that my little girl is not a finicky eater! :lovecat:
She can be a diva or a princess in any other way, but happy she's not that way when it comes to eating!

Oh okay! I've been thinking about getting on of those... and also wondering if I should get something like this too (what I thought you meant by puzzle feeder):
or this:
These are all great ideas, and I'm using a combination of them all! I added the same size kibble to her regular kibble, and the rest I am using as occasional treats and toppers.
I'm not familiar with puzzle feeders. Are those what they call slow feeders? The ones that make the cats work a...
I think we're going to try the different things suggested in this thread. I like the idea of having the pouches for convenience, and maybe get the plain pumpkin cans for back-up.
Thanks everyone! :purr:
Wow! How awful and scary! My heart goes out to all who have suffered losses due to this horrible drug! :hearthrob::redheartpump:
Makes me really want to question EVERYTHING the vet says and recommends.
Ah! Tushie Wipes! Such things DO exist! lol.
So, I think I will use a combination of paper towels and Tushie Wipes, with the wipes primarily going in rooms away from a sink, and in the kitty bag (for when we travel). I thought about baby wipes, but I wasn't sure if they contained some...
Okay, thanks everyone! Only as needed, got it! I'll make sure to get a few cans or pouches to make sure I have some on hand whenever it's needed.
