No, he can't. He just dribbles, probably because his bladder is so full :( I'm really trying to avoid putting him down as I know just taking him in will be stressful and scary. I don't want his last moments to be surrounded by people he doesn't trust.

The amputation won't help with his incontinence. That's a done deal, likely as a result of the nerve damage from the tail injury which goes all the way up. The amputations only purpose is for hygeine, which is doubly important with an incontinent bladder.
