No worries. Momma cat wants only to protect the little ones. The tiny kittens need protection. Later momma cat may move them again, so that the food would be closer.

Oh, that Tarifa is so much like our Kismet's kittens Misty Eye and Longing Heart. Not a single white fur anywhere, just red and black.

I think it is some sort of maternal instinct in the feline world.

We do not know if Kismet was pregnant when we got her, but later she definitely got pregnant and got 4 little, furry friends.
