I used Lotus raw for one of my cats who had megacolon. It helped with his allergies plus no bone didn't constipate him. Not sure it will work for your cat but maybe worth checking out. Small batch has been good for some cats but I couldn't feed due to bone content.

I know this is way late but someone else may get something from it. I found VetriScience DMG (you can get it from Chewy) helped my cat with his allergies and sometimes he would get the watery eye as well.

Rocky came home this past Friday evening. He's doing well and pooped on his own Saturday night and today! Lots of poop but it's not formed yet. We will get there. I'm just glad he's pooping on his own!

Thanks. I have all those things ready for when he comes home. Luckily he likes the RC food (I got the canned). Maybe it will all be ok once things get in his system and get regulated. I'm familiar with giving fluids per my cat that passed away at age 20 from kidney disease.

So far, the ER visit has yielded no hard poop findings, just a lot of diarrhea after a night of one enema, fluids, and manual check under anesthesia. They think it's just a motility issue. I wonder if all his straining after the initial problem of diarrhea that swung back to constipation caused...

He's getting fluids and cleaned out at the ER vet. This vet actually said everything the megacolon group has said needs to happen, so I feel better. I'll feel even better when he gets home!
