My Pipsqueak has always been confusing on picking what color to call him. He’s mostly a blue tabby color with white. But he does have like gold creamy colored patches so I’m wondering if he might be a dilute caliby. The blue areas also seem to have a beige undertones on the edges.
There isn’t...
I confirmed baby shampoo is better with the shelter. (They weren’t answering earlier.) washed one at a time and dried before going back home. They were pissed about the bath and dry time. They still aren’t too keen on handling.
Everyone’s eyes are looking a bit clearer.
We have poop! I put in a small litter box and mixed extra water into the food. The babes are but messy now though. Can I wash with baby shampoo or is dawn better?
Since Im fostering until the rescue has room I wasn’t sure if the rescue was going to name them so I’ve been holding off. They’ve already taken in three older kittens from our colony and they just don’t have space at the moment. But I love cuteness and I’ve got plenty of room in my heart to help...
They all have a bit of goop going on so all are getting amoxicillin. And I can wipe them a little bit before they get super upset with me. So I do what I can without stressing them too much
My heater has a thermostat so that it doesn’t get too hot. I keep it on a fairly low heat setting...
Right now they are old enough to eat on their own. Wet food and dry food that’s softened with formula. I think they might be kittens from an outdoor mama but I’m not 100% sure and since they are old enough to eat kitty food the shelter I’m working with to fix the Colony outside asked me to keep...
it’s been a while since I’ve had to care for kittens! One of the outside ferals must’ve squeezed in a last litter we didn’t notice this year (no room in the current spay trips plus haven’t been able to catch them to fix) but three tiny little babies with infections were on my door step this...
I completely vetted the kittens minus spay/neuter because I couldn't afford that part, before finding them homes. None of the ther kittens are having problems and it didn't occur until a couple hours of her being at the new home. Just wanted to get some ideas to help the lady out if the bleeding...
Just adopted out a kitten and the girl messaged me tonight that the kitten had some blood in her stools. I had just switched her off a food with red food dye that was making her poop red and have diarrhea but the photos show it is a bit of blood. She hates car rides and was having a hard time...
She's done this before belle was here too. But she doesn't do it often. I have two right now one is smaller for the kittens but once they leave I'm throwing it away since they'll be two cats.
Not yet. It's mostly pooping that I know of and plus I don't have too much extra money at the moment...
One of my cats, she's turning 1 on the 18, likes to potty on any fabric that happens to be on the floor. Her box is clean 90% of the time and I try to yell when she's doing, not afterso she knows why I'm angry. I spray/clean the area with a cat odor eliminator cleaning solution. But she won't...
She's hoping it might just repair itself. He has some scar tissue there too so she thinks it's from when his mama cut his cord she got a bit too excited.
Also the vet says he lucky to be 4 weeks max. The lump is a small hernia, which is what I was kinda thinking. It might go away on its own but he's young and it's small so for now just keep an eye on it
He's been eating the mush along with the other kittens and this morning I caught him eating dry food with Snow. Snow is one of my adult cats. Female. And besides the nursing aspect she took in pip like her own. She loves him.
