    Toby, The Mega Esophagus Kitten

aww seeing the old post here made me sad. TJ passed away tragically in January. But Toby is still going strong. He recently had all his teeth pulled except 1 bottom fang. He had pretty bad stomatitis and corrosion because of vomiting. it has been many months since he last regurgitated so...

    FIP

So we have done 38 out of 84 doses. She is really doing great. we are still battling a mysterious respiratory infection that is only affecting our younger kitties. So she and our Jingle Bells both are sneezy wheezy things still. but the FIP treatment has really done wonders for Greybee...

Know what this could be? 18 year old indoor cat has this on her back.

i had a 17-year old that had these as well. I showed them to the vet and they said to just keep an eye on them in case they were growing, it basically like a skin tag. Sadly he passed away 2 years ago on the 17th but they never caused him any issues. he had 3 of them in different places. i would...

    Tuxedo cat personalities

while i see similarities in my 3 tuxedos babies they are definitely different too. Ninja is an alley cat that we only usually see at night when we make him come in and when he is hungry. He's scared of humans. Except us and a few friends. He is a biter and a growler when he is not happy. He also...

    FIP

We decided to try the injections and I was extremely sceptical, to be honest. Tonight we did dose 11. Started on January 1st. She is really doing AMAZING! I am very hopeful that this will continue to go well. I would also recommend speaking to FIP warriors on Facebook that was the path I took...

Kitten constantly vomitting. Checked twice by vet, operated to check intestine. Please read

yes everyone says regurgitation but i watch Toby and he also heaves, side chews (turns his head and chews air) and lip smacks often. i have actually argued with vets because i still think he is vomiting but i have seen the x-rays and he has megaesophagus. it can develop suddenly or can be...

Kitten constantly vomitting. Checked twice by vet, operated to check intestine. Please read

have they checked her esophagus? I have a cat that vomits often and he has a condition called megaesophagus. it took us a while to come to the diagnosis but once they did an x-ray of the esophagus it was easy to see what the issue was. It is not very common in cats so might not be something the...

    FIP

@Meowmee I have already found these groups on Facebook and could have the meds in my hands in a matter of 30 minutes but i am worried about it being worth all this. The people in these groups all swear by the meds but I think if they were against it they wouldn't be in the group...

    FIP

@FeebysOwner From what I have read Ocular means it is affecting the brain and can cause blindness. you can tell because of the clouds in her eyes. that was what made us start thinking it was FIP. she had other symptoms but the cloudy eyes didn't fit anything else. @BlackCatOp I feel the same...

    FIP

@Furballsmom yeah the fountain was still new and has been cleaned. @BlackCatOp which is why i have questions about using the GS that is out there. a simple google search directs you to ways to obtain a non-fda approved medication for FIP treatment. I just don't know if i should try these...

    FIP

So yesterday we got the blood test back and found out our foster (who was on the fast track to being our foster fail) has FIP ocular. I have zero knowledge of FIP at this point so I have spent the last few days reading everything in the world I could find and still feel like I've learned...
