Can You Help Us With Kitten’s Gender?

Thanks. HE is about six months now. I guess it’s time to get neutered. I’m a little relieved as I believe neutering is a much less invasive procedure than spaying.

Can You Help Us With Kitten’s Gender?

We took this kitten in a couple of months ago and at the time the vet told us that she was a girl. However, over the past month I’ve noticed several cases of err... red rocket, while kitten is self grooming. Is it possible to definitively tell from these photos? Thanks!

New to cats. Could use some help

One of our cats thinks he has a mind of his own and gets to make his choices as to where he wants to go, except that he will always follow a laser-pointer. So, if we want he confined in the room, we just guide him with it. Our other cat sort of astounded me when she responds to my gestures for...

Boundaries: Constant Meowing/Controlling where my cat goes on my desk

Our kitten (more of an adolescent at 8 months, though) chills out when he is tired and only if there is nothing moving to trigger his prey drive. I think he can't help himself, if he is lounging for a much needed nap, he will pounce and run after any small thing that runs across his vision...

Boundaries: Constant Meowing/Controlling where my cat goes on my desk

Congrats on finding your kitten. While I don't know much about how to steer cat behavior, which I will leave to someone with more accurate knowledge. It drives me crazy how on this subject in particular, there is an endless stream of conflicting advice from everyone. The difficulty is in...

    Cat attacking child/manic

Bless your heart for having such patience with it. Honestly, I would stop giving a rat's ass about the cat's well being after it intentionally attacks a 4 year old child. Sure, it isn't the cat's fault, but neither is it yours or the child's. I'll leave it up to the more experienced cat lovers...

Introducing new cat (with no kitty manners) to resident cat?

She is, yes. Yeah, I'm actually encouraged by this revelation about his recent neutering. It means things can only get better, even if they take more time.:D Surprisingly, coco really seems to try to interact with him. If I let them barely see each other, she will go and curiously watch. I took...

Introducing new cat (with no kitty manners) to resident cat?

So today, mr bean slipped out the door as I tried to enter the bedroom. He was on top of coconut before I knew it, biting the back of her neck , mounting and trying to pin her down. He was also trilling so loud as he ran out and towards her. Before I could even clap, coco pushed him off her...

Introducing new cat (with no kitty manners) to resident cat?

Thank you so much!  I had no idea that more confidence would mean more peace. I have a much clearer idea of how to proceed now, thanks to your clarifications regarding my specific questions.  I think our resident cat, Coconut, is a little threatened by the new cat, as he did pounce her a few...
