What's Wrong W/feral Tnrs Face? Same But Less Raw On Leg (nsfw Pics)

UPDATE: He's been back to feed twice. He's got some missing fur above his eyes but everything else is 100% healed. I'm guessing the fleas and face smashing are what made him look so bad :( But he's good now :)

What's Wrong W/feral Tnrs Face? Same But Less Raw On Leg (nsfw Pics)

Sadly no. One cat did get a tipped ear that I never got, so somebody might be helping ferals. On the other hand, theres been 3 friendly stray cats here and I've rehomed all three (including the hurt cat I posted about elsewhere that I'm all but certain to take with me). In GA theres so many...

What's Wrong W/feral Tnrs Face? Same But Less Raw On Leg (nsfw Pics)

Good news! It looks like everything scabbed over already. Theres not even any pink. I'm hoping that means it was fleas and banging against the trap. The trap is cheap, I'll check it to see if its got sharp insides. He for sure is not letting me touch him to apply anything. I think I'm just...

I transferred him to a small bathroom for observation

What's Wrong W/feral Tnrs Face? Same But Less Raw On Leg (nsfw Pics)

Is this guy is digging himself to bits? Is this fleas? Could it be ear mites? I'm guessing the active bleeding was wacking his face into the trap in a panic. Vet didn't say a word and I didn't realize how bad it was. His ears look dirty but can't tell. He got advantage, vaxx, deworm. This is...

Should Feral With Broken Pelvis Be Euthenized? Vet Said No

The vet did look, he said they were really bad, as he expected with FIV. He didn't indicate he thought it needed any intervention. He just seems to be a picky jerk with food, not having issues with pain.

Should Feral With Broken Pelvis Be Euthenized? Vet Said No

I have 4 cats (2 strays, 1 feral, 1 foster), all grown. I've kept him separate because in the past when we've rehomed a cat and my cats were exposed to them, it led to increased tension, hissing, small curfuffles. One of them already doesn't tolerate two of the others, and one of those two hates...

Should Feral With Broken Pelvis Be Euthenized? Vet Said No

UPDATE: So, this guy isn't feral, he's stray. After a week of sitting quietly with him, he began absolutely loving my wife, crawling on her, drooling over her, sleeping on her. He gives me the soft eyes but still fears me. I haven't been spending the quiet time like her though. Unfortunately...

Should Feral With Broken Pelvis Be Euthenized? Vet Said No

The injury is old. He had it when he started coming around, so I dont know the answer. He may have been coming around for 6+ months according to the Misses. UPDATE: Hurt cat has been in a bedroom for about a week. I have a camera set up in there. I've seen him not only walk on that leg without...

Should Feral With Broken Pelvis Be Euthenized? Vet Said No

I guess another long term concern is I'm a law student in my last year. I've fed this cat basically every day for 4 months (he disappeared for a few weeks at one point). I have no idea what he will do when I move. I'm in Georgia, so I'm sure theres lots of bugs and rodents, but not sure if do...

Should Feral With Broken Pelvis Be Euthenized? Vet Said No

Yes but the distinct impression was it will not heal further than it has over the last 3-5 months. He seems to have survived for a long time without any issue from predators or even other cats. No, he's too aggressive and I already have 4 cats. Leaving him locked in a bedroom by himself...

Should Feral With Broken Pelvis Be Euthenized? Vet Said No

Have a feral tomcat that has been limping 3-5 months. Finally got him with a drop trap-pelvis is broken. No prospect for healing. Vet said since he's eating well, uses both legs when running, and completely dominates the back yard (he chases other cats away) he should not be euthanized, although...
