We tried Dr. Elsey dry food…they had rancid, explosive diarrhea for weeks. It all cleared up when we went back to their former food (another grain free, Tiki Cat)

My sweet kitten died of wet FIP. It’s a ruthless disease that takes them down within a week or two. That is a pretty severe diagnosis to give a pet owner IMO. If you see a severe decline in energy and appetite, it could be FIP…but until then hold out hope it is something treatable.

My kitties will refuse wet food (we’ve tried every texture and flavor) and finally found that they love broths. Broths are a good way to get hydration into your cat’s diet, but not nutritionaly complete. Our dry food is, so we figure they are ok.

We have an auto ship delivery scheduled every month from Chewy and get a 5% discount and free shipping. It contains all the litter, wet and dry food we need for the month, so savings add up. We buy Tiki Cat, which can be in short supply in stores for the specific products they like. Chewy has...

My two black panthers love Tiki Cat Born Carnivore dry food, and the Tiki Cat broths (but won’t eat any of their wet food..or any other company.)

Tiki Tuna broths. My girls refuse to eat regular wet food (we have tried everything!) but they will eat this. It’s not a meal (nutritionaly) but at least they are getting moisture.

2 and 5 are my choices, but all very nice.

We did something very similar, introduction ratio is important, but will not prevent a reaction.

We started feeding this to my cats and immediately they had severe diarrhea and vomiting. I’ve read up on it and as it turns out, many other pet owners have similar reports. I thought this was a highly vetted brand, but just wanted to share to proceed with caution.

We tried Tiki Cat Born Carnivore, which was good, but switched to Wysong Epigen 90 when I heard it has the most protein. My cats had pretty watery poop with that, so switching to Dr. Elsey’s Clean Protein.

Our cat has started peeing on the sofa. Are there any sprays you’ve found that actually work :frustrated:to keep kitty away from that area? We’ve used enzyme cleaner.
