I have two kittens and would love some suggestions for high meat content, high quality, grain free foods. I hope to rotate foods eventually to avoid pickiness or being scuppered if a recipe changes or is discontinued. Currently I give them both Animonda Carny Kitten and Applaws. They have had...
Hey. Firstly, I think everyone has a feeling like this to some extent with small and vulnerable pets but honestly, she sounds absolutely fine and you don't need to be home 24/7 for her to be. Big play session, food, kitten proof room and you can easily leave her for a few hours. It feels very...
I think that's probably true but I did think the mothers got a bit fed up with them by that point. When we picked Wilf up she was to the point where she wouldn't nurse them anymore and was cuffing them quite frequently for bothering her. Maybe some cats just aren't hugely maternal. 😂
I just say breeder because they were the previous owner and had the mother tbh. It's simpler and quicker than saying Wilf's mothers owner. I'm fairly sure she's going to get her spayed but hasn't been able to recently because all non essential things had been banned in vet surgeries whilst the...
They've been to the vet once before they were taken away for a check up and flea and wormer and the Ragdoll mix is the cat which is ginger and beige according to the breeder. 8 weeks is a fairly normal age for non pedigree kittens to be rehomed in the UK as far as I'm aware. :S?
We have taken in a young calico kitten from a less than ideal situation. She's fine, vet checked, eating well, brilliant with the litter box, social, confident and friendly etc. The only thing is we have no idea what she'll look like as an adult and we have no idea of her parentage. She is...
Interesting development! The cat
the breeder expects to be dad is.. ginger with beige and grey bits near his feet? :') And yes, Wilf and the other blue and white were the only males.
She didn't try to pass them off as anything. As she didn't know for sure who the dad was, they were just kittens. No special anything. Can't really fault her tbh, all flea and worming done, weaned onto pretty decent quality food, kitten pack. Quite impressed for a hobbyist breeder or...
Almost certain but I'll clarify with the breeder tomorrow. Oh wow. The breeder does have her cats as indoor/outdoor cats so I suppose it's possible. That's really interesting.
