Should my two cats be together now?

Thank you, looking at things we definitely haven't had a real cat fight which we are very happy about. @Alldara When you say growling do you mean from both sides? Toby does growl and swat the little one but we took this as him setting boundaries so we don't separate them. The kitten swats back...

Should my two cats be together now?

Thank you everyone! We will continue doing what we are doing. Currently Stitch loves to try to play with Toby, Toby hisses and swats him back and is generally unhappy but of course we know he is setting boundaries so we are leaving them be for now. Toby has plenty of hiding spots Stitch can't...

Should my two cats be together now?

Forgot to add, the only hissing/growling coming out of Toby is still when Stitch gets near, this usually gets more common around dinner time when both are feeling hungry. No other signs of aggression!

Should my two cats be together now?

Forgot to mention, we keep them apart for a lot of the day to make sure Toby can sleep in peace! They aren't together 24/7 as we are worried about Stitch just never leaving Toby alone.. he is older so we really don't want to add too much stress into his life. When Stitch really tries to play...

Adopted a 7 month old stray kitten - trying to understand his background

Hi! Thank you for the reply, sorry I should have been more clear he isn't a ragdoll breed, I meant ragdoll as in a doll, very fluid and not much strength in muscles. I forgot it is a breed, should have been more clear on my side haha he is a cute black and white kitty Assuming you mean when...

Adopted a 7 month old stray kitten - trying to understand his background

Hello, 2 Weeks ago we have brought in a 7 month old kitten, we found him outside of our home. We have never seen him before in the neighbourhood, he appeared on that day and proceeded to follow a neighbour to a store 20 minutes away, wait outside, and follow them back. He would follow anyone...

Are my two cats making good progress?

Hi! Thank you so much for your replies, this makes me feel much better knowing the introductions are going well. We are definitely making sure he has all the toys in the world but he is a bit picky, plays with his new toy and gets bored so we need a big cycle of toys :flail: We will keep going...

    HELP!!! Cat spraying

Is he neutered? If not this may be contributing to the spraying. If he struggles with using a litterbox and needs to be litter trained I recommend a cat stain and odour remover such as this Cats often come back to spots they sprayed in to do it again. We are having slight issues with our 7...

Are my two cats making good progress?

Apologies for the long post in advance. 2 Weeks ago we have rescued (unexpectedly) a 7/8 month old kitten Stitch. We already have a 12 year old black panther Toby, he is an extremely calm and apathetic cat who rarely enjoys playing and is generally extremely laid back ever since he was a baby...
