I'm sorry for your loss. Cats hide pain really well, so a lot of times it's difficult to figure out if they're feeling unwell until they're *really* not feeling well. And if they exhibit symptoms, it can be a lot of different things. Please take care of yourself.

I'm so sorry about her passing. As others said, she may have had an undetected condition causing her passing. I'd imagine that it's doubly difficult for you because you didn't expect it and had no time to prepare. Please take care of yourself.

I agree with everyone else to please take your cat to the vet - Brian007 is right that the lethargy and hunched state are big red flags. Hopefully it's nothing, but it doesn't hurt to be overcautious. Please let us know how he's doing!
