Funny, I was just going to start a new thread about chicken wings. Thank you so much for all of this information! I ordered a KitchenAid mixer with the meat grinder attachment but then I found out that it won't handle bones. Now I'm looking into alternate ways to feed them raw bones.
Once I get them on food that I think is best for them I'll talk to my veterinarians about how many calories they need. My kitten won't stop eating and she's still growing so it's hard to tell how much she needs.
The eight year old is ten pounds, down a little bit from last year. The cans of Weruva and BFF say one ounce per pound. I am feeding them in three meals per day and the only thing that I leave out for longer than 15 minutes are the wet foods. He only gets dry food when he won't finish the wet...
I tried giving them some of the Bravo chicken blend burger, it doesn't have any added ingredients and I smelled it, it's basically odorless. They didn't it eat it at all when I gave it to them all alone. Then I tried mixing a small amount of it with a can of BFF and they didn't eat it. I saved...
Hi,
Just curious about this, how would you go about feeding your cat all of the necessary vitamins and supplements that they need if you feed them meat that isn't ground?
Thank you!
I can't believe these cats. I tried mixing a tiny amount of the raw food in with the BFF and they wouldn't eat it. My six month old kitten didn't go for it, that's kind of a surprise. This is going to take much longer than anticipated so I will get some Weruva because they shouldn't eat...
OK, good idea, I'll try mixing it later today. I live in Austin and I go to Tomlinson's and it's a pretty sophisticated feed store so they might have something. Otherwise I'll order online. Thank you!
You have all been very helpful. I'll look for those brands when I go to the feed store. Unfortunately, I tried feeding my cats the Bravo! this morning and they wouldn't eat it at all. Maybe because it was cold. They've been eating BFF food for the last week and they love it. I left the raw food...
catspaw66, thank you for moving the post. I noticed after I posted that there's a raw forum.
Raintyger, thank you so much! That completely answers my question!
Hi all,
I'm just about ready to start introducing raw food to my cats but I accidentally bought the wrong Bravo! food. The stuff I bought doesn't have any of the supplemental ingredients that would make the food "complete" or "balanced". My question is this: are there products on the market...
