my friend frequently brings her dog to stay on my cats' catio (without the cats in it). if her dog were to have worms or parasites, could her dog transfer those somehow to my cats via having been in the catio?

one of my cats was licking the same place aggressively to the point she was getting bald. the vet said it's sometimes called "barbering". the vet gave her a steroid injection and it seems to have calmed whatever was bothering her.

the vet told me the same thing, has to be put into food, not given as a capsule. just mix it into the food (not sprinke on top) and they won't even notice it's there.
