I know this is old but I just registered on this site but can't find where I can start my own thread with questions but I took in a stray cat but she also still remained outside, she would come eat and sleep and then back out. Well I noticed she was pregnant and just two days ago she gave birth to 4 kittens under my bed. This was Saturday 6/25/2018. I am writing this two days later and today she gave birth the a 5th kitten!!! And on top of it at first the kitten would not feed in she kept keeping it separate from the rest but eventually after a few hours of bringing it back to her she got it to eat and the kitten is doing fine. It also is is the same size as the others when they came out. My question is I was rubbing mama's belly and she still has like a lump in there like it feels like something still there and I'm concerned because I am a single parent and don't have money to pay a vet and I'm worried that I would have to surrender her and her babies which I don't want to do. I'm hoping 5 is all there is and nothing is wrong with her. She is eating very good and taking care of her babies very very good. She also uses the litter box just fine
