OK I’ve already got another one: every time I come through the door, he lifts his nose, just a little bit, as if to say hello. I don’t know if that’s a universal cat greeting, or what.
It is!!! Try doing it back to him. I've watched some wildlife documentaries and big cats do it too :)

Our cat Pidin is kind of an ass. He hates it when we pick him up, touch him and especially despises hugs. So one might think he hates being around us.
However.
Sometimes, after a very deep sleep, he wakes up screaming and starts running around the house. The only thing that calms him down is when we call out to him-he comes running and quickly begins the cuddle session. You have to talk to him and cuddle him.
He's also incredibly cuddly when drowsy.
He's our little tsundere. An asshole most of the time, but we're 200% sure he loves us a lot.
:flail:
Whenever one of my cats goes to the vet, Sarah will spend the next few days hissing at them and avoiding them (probably because they smell clinic-like.) I love how her brother will act hurt about this for about a day, then spend the next several days playfully stalking her, out of the pure joy of pissing her off. They really do act like siblings!
My tortie is a heat seeker. In the winter, she will sleep up against me, completely 100% covered up in blankets and comforters. She will stay there even after I get up with no desire to come up for air. In my house, if there's a blanket or something on a couch or chair, you absolutely must feel around for a cat before sitting down!

Krista would give me a full-throated trill and a head nod like “wassup?” whenever I came home or entered the room she was in. I miss that so much.

Betty is so indifferent about my comings 😔 and goings and so demanding about hers. 😾🤦🏼‍♂️

I have so many things I appreciate about Betty though. Probably my favorite is just how much she loves touch. She loves booty rubs and belly rubs. And she loves face bunting. Yoga is a contact sport with her. If my face is in range, she’ll brush or bump hers against mine.

She loves to sit in my lap and perhaps her absolute favorite is bedtime where she will curl into my armpit, reach a paw across my chest like a hug, and brush her face against my own. She will snuggle like this for 20 to 30 minutes before her love tank is full and then she moves on to a sleeping station near me, but not on me. Krista had to sleep while touching me. Betty connects with me while we’re awake and then sleeps apart from but near me. I prefer the latter as I can be a restless sleeper
Betty sounds like my tortie. If she could crawl down my throat to be nearer to me, she would.
Krista was a beautiful girl. What gorgeous markings!

Ah, I forgot about our second troublemaker, Morgana.
Morgana is.. uhh.. kind of special. Her nickname's gremlin, and for a good reason.
She's tiny and has the face of a kitten. She's adorable, but oh boy, mess with her and it's over for you. She regularly dominates over our 7kg cats-they're literally twice her size, but she couldn't care less.
The best thing about her is how vocal she is. And by vocal I mean of course everything is about her and thus she has to put her input into everything. When I say vocal, I mean VOCAL. Constantly chirping, screaming and demanding attention.
If you say a word that starts with M, it's very obviously about her, so she comes running and screaming.
Another weird thing is that she loooves it when you squeeze her head. Not gently, but like you want to crack her skull. She L.O.V.E.S it.
She's also in love with our radiator, screaming at it and cuddling with it. I don't know why.
The weirdest thing is that she's obsessed with TV, but not in the traditional way. She loves the sound of changing the volume and watching the numbers go down while literally trying to hunt them and begging us to make them appear.
Yeah, gremlin suits her nicely...

Twyla:
- when she stretches out on my lap and I hold her belly while she sleeps
- her insistence on a full body massage (for her) every time I go into my home office to work.
- her joy in playing with bouncy balls and springs
- when we play “closet inspector” in which I open all the upstairs closets one by one and she is allowed to check them out
- how she taps my arm when she wants more pets
- when I go to bed and she curls up between my legs and watches tv with me
- her slightly cross eyed sweet face

Hooper
- his wide vocabulary of chirps, trills and baby cries
- when he literally gallops from one end of the house to the other like a thoroughbred on Derby day
- his soft nose kisses
- he loves to snuggle, preferably under the covers
- his obsession with the ice maker
- his sweet demeanor

She sounds like my kind of cat!! For some reason your description of her screaming and cuddling with the radiator, her one true love, has me laughing out loud for real!

Betty has a preferred side to snuggle on. I am laid out on my daybed in the office after a lunch run 🏃‍♂️ has really taken it out of me. I’m laying in such a way that it would have been easier for Betty to curl on my right side. She tried it. She was unhappy. She walked across my chest ( of course) to squeeze herself in on my left side between me and the body pillow. She’s in heaven! 😽😻 I could use a beer and a couple Advil. Two more hours on my workday… I will have to move Betty soon to go back to work. 😿

Mine always sleep on my left, too. I wonder what that's about? The only way one will sleep on my right is if I lay on my right side and spoon them (which usually lasts about 6 seconds), otherwise it's back to back. A few years ago I got to my bed first and crammed myself along the left side of the bed so there was nowhere to go but to the right. The confusion was AFV animal edition material.

If I should pass Seal when he is on the back of a chair or other accessible spot, I lean over, say "Give me a kiss," and he gets up, stretches his neck out and presses the top of his head against my mouth for a kiss. Actually, I don't have to say the part about giving me a kiss. I just have to lean over and he knows what to do. :redheartpump: But I like saying the give me a kiss part.

Casper takes such good care of his Girl-Human!

He is her support animal and it's downright spooky how he seems to know when she needs some Kitty-Love to make her feel better. If she's having an anxiety attack or even just having a bad day, he will be right there, by her side. If she's having a migraine attack (actual migraine) he jumps up in bed and curls up beside her.

If Casper hears his Girl-Human crying, he literally comes a-running. He'll sit at her feet and meow until she lets him climb into her lap and he starts purring for her.

I've had dozens of dogs, growing up and I've lived with, probably, six or eight cats. Three of them were my own. The rest belonged to family members or roommates.

I have never, EVER, seen any animal that is so attentive to their human's emotional needs and is always there when needed.

If I could clone Casper, I'd make a dozen more, just like him!

I love the way Bourbon follows me with her eyes, and her head tilts. She seems to know also when I am in emotional distress as she never leaves my side.

I love the way Graham "talks" back to me. Of all my cats she is the most talkative one and seems to understand human language. I also love the way she "drops dead" whenever I call her name. It is so amusing. First time I have a cat that acts like a dog.

And Barley? I love the way when he opens his mouth only to just let out a soft, raspy meow.

I used to call my cat 'kitoo' he is very pretty with brown and white furs on him. I brought him home when he was of 1 month and now he is of 1 year. In my whole family, he is more attached to me as I mostly used to play with him, cuddling him in my arms. I liked the way how he shows different emotions, aggressive when not given attention and happy when you bathe and play with him. Whenever I leave home he used to search for me and when I came back home from the office he comes running to me and jumps on my arm. I don't get bored when I used to be with him.

I like how Maple purposely falls off of things. She'll be playing on my computer chair and will climb around the back or sides until she loses her grip, then go tumbling off and regain her purchase at the last second. She likes to play under the bed sheets but almost always purposely tumble off the side of the bed, bringing the sheets with her.

Weird. Does anybody else's cat do things like this?

Missy is a very talkative kitty; most of the time her meows and purrs and chirps sound very joyful. But every time I cough or sneeze she responds in such an annoyed way that I feel the need to apologize.

I am not a cat person so the thing that I like about Boone and Gracie is that they chose me to love the most instead of my husband who is a cat person. I love seeing how jealous he gets when he calls them over for pets and they ignore him and then hop up on my lap instead.
