It's been a month since I ordered mine and still nothing. The government doesn't have enough test kits on hand to send out to everyone who has requested a kit so certain demographics have been prioritized over others. The government is sending out kits as they receive batches from contracted manufacturers.

I got an email overnight saying they were coming by the 22nd, then another one this morning saying they're coming today. So we'll see what happens.

Yup I just got that email too.

That makes sense. I know they're having trouble finding enough people to package them but I wasn't sure how they were prioritizing. Not alphabetical because my town comes before the town I work in, lol. Got several at work today and they all seemed to be addressed to women about my age so they must be going by demographic.

They did come, btw! They'll be good to have on hand if we want to test before going somewhere or feel sick.

Many health insurance plans are covering the cost of test kits you purchase, up to 8 test kits per covered individual per month. You submit the receipt to your insurance for reimbursement. Information on the reimbursement process should be on your health insurance's web site.

Mine are supposed to come on Saturday. A little too late IMO. I'm sick now and have to try to hide it today, if I miss in service today I'll get fired. I also simply can't bear the thought of standing outside in the cold for 3 hours to get tested.

Ordered them the day they were announced, weeks ago. Haven't gotten them yet, nor have many people in my area.

Just got an email. Ours are supposed to be here on Friday. We'll see.
I wonder how accurate they are.

Since I work exclusively from home now, I didn't order any. If I still went into the office I would need to know if it is COVID or just a cold. Since I work from home it doesn't matter which it is. I am not going anywhere when I am sick even if it is just a cold and I know it. People around me would freak out so I will just stay home.

I got the iHealth brand of kits. Is that what most people received?

My kits expire July of this year. If I don't use them before then I'll offer them on FreeCycle or some place.

The government must be getting kits from different manufacturers and sending them out as soon as they get them. Wonder if the more popular Abbot Binaxnow is also having kits sent out through the government
