I get dark roast whole beans from a local coffee shop/cafe. I put cream/creamer in so I like the coffee flavor to come through. Love love love it every morning. I have to have mostly decaf and some regular because if too much caffeine I get irregular heart beats.
I use a french press, used to use a drip coffee maker, with the metal filter.
They say a burr grinder is best to have, but they are expensive!! So I have a regular one.
I remember my daughter and I went to Vegas 6 years ago, and in a restaurant in the Paris Las Vegas hotel they had THE BEST coffee I've ever had! It was Intelligentsia brand. Can order it online, but it's pretty expensive- but maybe some day!
My morning routine is get up, play with the cats, feed the cats, make my coffee- and sit on the couch where Gracie hops up for her morning lap time. So she and I really enjoy our morning coffee!

What?! Those are a thing?! Well gosh, now I feel bad for using paper for the past few years in my 4 cup Mr Coffee. I'm thinking about upgrading to an 8 cup soon, so maybe I'll grab a permanent filter for it.

(this is an old post but...) For my Mr. Coffee I got a metal filter, it's plastic on the bottom- got it at the grocery store. Worked great!

My all time favorite is still BLACK RIFLE COFFEE COMPANY All their coffee is outstanding but Coffee or Die is my #1. I have a subscription with their coffee club. it's great. They have amazing customer service too.

I love learning about new drinks.

This morning I am drinking Hills Bros Classic Cappuccino instant mix with 2 Tsp of Community dark roast instant coffee added to make it stronger. It's okay with water, but I think I will try it with milk tomorrow. My brother is sending me some unsweetened vanilla soy milk. I wonder if that would taste good with cappuccino? I guess we'll see.

This morning for me it's Sumatra Dark Roast and Brazil Decaf mixed (have to have mostly decaf but I want a little jolt) from my local coffee shop. With half and half and a spoon of Private Selection hot cocoa mix (the kind you add to milk), and of course Gracie sitting on my lap.
Nice way to start the day.

This morning I had 2 different flavors of Hills Bros Cappuccino mixed together with hot water- 2 Tablespoons of French Vanilla and 2 Tablespoons of Classic Cappuccino. I added 2 Tsp of Community dark roast instant coffee to make it stronger.

Same thing every day for now, I get about 2 pounds of beans and then go get something else, whatever I choose on that particular day! But I always get medium-dark to dark roast .

I'm drinking the same thing every day. I have the O Organics French roast in decaf (I prefer medium roasts, but I'm trying to cut back on caffeine, so decaf is what I'm stuck with for now), that I make in my French press and have with two spoonfuls of sugar and a bit of milk.

Last weekend DH and I needed to get out so we took a drive to a local roaster that I discovered. They have a wonderful selection of freshly roasted beans and since I don't know when I'll get back I bought 2 bags of their darkest roast. That's what I had this morning while catching up on the news.

Same morning cup of dark roast coffee from the local roaster I mentioned above but in the afternoon I usually have honey lemon ginseng green tea. Since the stay-at-home order I've been having tea more often in the afternoon.
