I'm really sorry you had to go through all that.Oz went back to the shelter today. I am very hopeful that his next home will be a better match for him. I've never willingly been parted from a pet before, so this really sucks.

Sometimes it is the best, the only, thing to do. You were strong enough to know this, and to give Oz the best chance to find the right fit for him.Oz went back to the shelter today. It's always difficult when our best just isn't good enough for one of our pets; I'm glad there's a place where you could take Oz to give him a good chance of finding a furrever home that fits him.Sometimes it is the best, the only, thing to do. We'll I'm mostly okay except when I feed kitties, since he is a cat that is obsessed with food. So my entire feeding ritual is now very quiet. But all the rest of the kitties are doing much better without him around and are much calmer and happier. So I know its right. I just hope he can find a home fast. I know the shelter will keep him until they find him a place to go, but they're so full of kittens right now. It's always difficult when our best just isn't good enough for one of our pets; I'm glad there's a place where you could take Oz to give him a good chance of finding a furrever home that fits him.
How are you holding up?

Thanks! I just bought one. They are really cute. I hope if fits on my mug.A stainless steel stirring spoon that'll puuurrfectly perch itself right on the side of your mug.
It really looks as if, with a pair of pliers and very gentle hands, it could be adjusted just a little bit. Thanks! I just bought one. They are really cute. I hope if fits on my mug.
That happended to me before! Don't feel bad.Don't ask how I hit 'post reply' once and got 3 posts, because I have no idea.
You never know you need these in your life until you see them. Regular catless folk wouldn't understand. If my bank account would allow, majority of the things in my home would have a cute little cat face on it.A stainless steel stirring spoon that'll puuurrfectly perch itself right on the side of your mug.

Promising review: "Love this little spoon! It fits perfectly on the edge of my coffee mug. Now I no longer have to go searching for a spoon to stir my morning coffee! Since it sits on the edge of the cup my fingers don't get sticky from a wet handle. Plus, it's absolutely adorable and makes me think of my own kitty while I'm away at work. This spoon has become an essential part of my morning routine." —Brianna S

Just as a heads-up to everyone. The New York Senate has passed and sent to the Assembly a bill to ban the declawing of cats in this state. Thought you might like to know.
Great idea, thanks! It really looks as if, with a pair of pliers and very gentle hands, it could be adjusted just a little bit.
Thanks for letting me know! I hope it passes. When will we know? The New York Senate has passed and sent to the Assembly a bill to ban the declawing of cats in this state. Thought you might like to know.
As I said, it was a heads-up, no more or less. If anyone wishes to debate the merits pro or con, then yes, it belongs on IMO.And the New York State Veterinary Medical Society opposes the bill saying declawing is "a last resort for felines that won't stop scratching furniture or humans — or when the cat's owner has a weakened immune system, putting them at greater risk of infection from a scratch" NY could become first state to ban cat declawing
This is the New York State Veterinary Medical Society's position statement on declaws: NYSVMS Position Statements - New York State Veterinary Medical Society
