On the other hand, there are the people that smell just too darn good. I used to work in the downtown of a large city where elevators were packed morning and nights. And some of these people, okay men, smelled so wonderful in the morning I had the urge to sniff their necks. Of course I resisted the urge but I sure never minded crowding in next to them.
Yes. Same here. When they use just a small amount, it can smell so good. Those are the ones you want to stand next to you in an elevator. Unfortunately, I seem to get stuck next to the ones who feel they have to bathe in it.

Old cat litter that needs to be dumped. You can scoop until you're blue in the face but sometimes you have to dump the litter and put in fresh.
Chicken crap. Cow crap isn't pleasant and neither is horse crap, but chicken crap has a very distinct odor that won't make it into a cologne bottle anytime soon.
Anything involving cooking seafood.

Go to a flower shop at about 5:30 PM on Valentines Day. I think the young men and women marinade in that stuff. P-U.

I smelled a dead mouse in the shop but could not locate it.
I think it got injured and ran somewhere near the work bench but I couldn't find it, probably in the walls somewhere.
Invest in clothespins for your nose is all I can suggest.

Almost all fruit except some citrus, raspberries, and blackberries. (I have cibophobia, and the smell of fruit makes me sick and terrified.) Anything that people smoke. I hate when some cigarette/pot/cigar smoker or vaper get within 10 feet of me. It is just foul. Anything rotting. Mildew. Sweaty people. Alcohol, especially beer. What is worse is the smell of someone who got very drunk the night before and the beer stench seems to get into their sweat. (So, anything that smells like my ex-husband.) Dirty litter and dogs.

I also do not like the smell of wisteria because it reminds me of grapes.

There's a woman at work who wears the most repulsive perfume I've ever smelled. That, combined with her "old lady smell," makes her disgusting to be around. I can walk back to the restroom or to the cafe and I can tell I'm following her just by the odor. Everybody talks about it, but nobody knows what to do about it.

Cat puke can make me physically ill. You'd think I'd be used to it by now, but, um, nope.

You guys are giving me a complex. What is "a old lady smell"? I shower every day but I don't wear perfume.

If you shower everyday, that's perfect! There's no way you could stink. My parents shower every other day which is okay I guess. But after 3 days a person starts to stink. We found this out during the ice storm of 1998. 3 days was the limit, then had to get out the stuff for a sponge bath!

Truck diesel exhaust (like I deal with now) is terrible vs. railroad diesel exhaust (which I used to deal with) is fine. There's a big difference.

Also there's a huge landfill I drive by a few times a week. They try to deodorize it with something, but it ain't working.

We had a customer who used to come into our store to shop. She smelled so bad that management assigned someone to follow after her with deodorizing spray. She would leave an aisle and the person assigned would go into the aisle and spray. You could smell her 4 aisles away! It was sickening! I can't stand perfume or after shave, tobacco products or alcohol of any kind, but the WORST is seafood.

You may all think I am crazy with this one but I think the smell of lilacs is so awful it will literally make me gag. I cut down all of those around this house when I moved in.
