That's amazing!!!There is back story to this cost , a few weeks ago a local grocery store had Fancy Feast classic pate for .24 cents a can!!! To say I bought "Some" would be a gross understatement.

wow, i wish our store would have that sale - i'd buy all of any of HK's preferred flavors. i get excited just thinking of how much money we'd save as we're currently spending an average of over $450 per month for our one elderly cat on fancy feast as it's so hard to get him to eat and he requires variety. at that price, we'd have it down to around $200!There is back story to this cost , a few weeks ago a local grocery store had Fancy Feast classic pate for .24 cents a can!!! I'm also curious how it costs $450 for one cat?wow, i wish our store would have that sale - i'd buy all of any of HK's preferred flavors. i get excited just thinking of how much money we'd save as we're currently spending an average of over $450 per month for our one elderly cat on fancy feast as it's so hard to get him to eat and he requires variety. at that price, we'd have it down to around $200!
because our cat is underweight and picky. when he turns down a flavor, we open another can, sometimes another and as many as it takes to get him eating - and he doesn't often finish, although once we get him eating, he'll take at least a couple bites from each plate.I'm also curious how it costs $450 for one cat?

he's got IBS and he's elderly, so he also doesn't digest that much of his food - he needs more food than he did as a chunky younger cat. plus we open two cans a day for the juice to mix his potassium with. we also leave at least two plates on the floor at night - and sometimes he'll even finish one.
we buy by the case of 24 cans. i just checked amazon, and we bought 21 cases from amazon in march in my accout. we also bought a bunch of loose cans and a couple cases from pet smart in person. believe it or not, this is lower than normal month for us when it comes to buying cat food because partly of which cans we had left from february. How much Fancy Feast are you buying for your cat?
I feed one of mine Tiny Tiger, the other 2 won't touch it, which is a real shame because it's a bit cheaper than Fancy Feast. A word of warning: if you haven't fed them Fancy Feast yet, I would advice not to. Like my two, they might get addicted to it and it will be difficult to get them back to the Tiny Tiger.I feed almost exclusively Tiny Tiger. I did just order a case of Fancy Feast for some variety, and I throw in a few cans of Abound/4Health Chicken and Ocean Whitefish. Or, if Chewy has a good sale, I will jump on it. They had Crave BOGO a few months ago and we are still working our way through those.
I am currently not working (school full-time) and even $100 on food (litter is another $13.50/40 lb bag and pet insurance...) is stretching us a little thin. Not to mention Dexter was our surprise kitten hat I found back in November....lol! We love him but he has cost us a lot more than we were used to paying in food.
7 and dont even want to know how much it cost me. Alli is on prescription food now so pretty much cost a fortune. We had been on 2 wet 2 dry feedings a day. But moved to 3 wet 1 dry with 6. Alli gets all wet. Those if you who only feed wet food....how much do you pay a month and how many cats do you have?
