Kids (-->looking at you 1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine ) aren't supposed to play on trestles lol

of course, the trestle isn't your biggest problem it's The TRAIN

That is a really wonderful photo, thank you :) and thank you for posting about the monthly photo contest

Positive, someone is going to get a bit of a fur trim, and it was nice enough out front for me to be in shortsleeves while cleaning out the flower bed

Another paw-sitive post for the kitties -

I thank God every day for sending Speedy to me, I believe that my Dad also put in a good word for sending this Friend to me, to be here with me when he couldn't. Thank you, Dad, I see you in her beautiful blue eyes every day.

This photo is my pride and joy, it was one year ago that I got the camera and how wonderful I have a portrait like this.

M maggiedemi , I think our tastes in music is different but glad you liked the song.

Furballsmom Furballsmom , I also put a shout out for the photo contest this month!

My Dad and I also loved this song, although he never heard this version, I don't think. Instead, we used to sing it together in Church. I would like to share it here today, but also in my Heart, I have my Dad to share it with. This is my all-time favorite version of this song.

1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine --Did you ever notice that I put my foot in my mouth a lot? I told you that you're "not that old" and then I sent you a song about a Grandpa. Hopefully you understood what I meant, listen to the words, minus the Grandpa part. :D

R raysmyheart --I love every song you post, so we do have some tastes in common. I love that Judy Collins song too. :)

You just get funnier every day.

Positive: It seems like when I'm doing a project, Maggie likes to hang out with me and "help me". I can see us bonding this winter while I'm cleaning out the cellar. :)

And here's my contribution to the romantic song mode -- a forever fave:
tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 - You have the broadest taste in music of anyone I've ever known. :)

This must surely qualify as one of the mosr "romantic" country songs ever recorded:

Up into the mid-fifties here now - a perfect day for battening down the guest house for Winter - with a walk in the Autumn woods afterwards. AND there's a fresh pan of brownies too!

;)

Furballsmom Furballsmom I am so sorry for your loss of your precious little one. <3 ((((((((^^)))))))) <3 Fly free, whole, healthy, and forever Loved, precious little angel!
1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine That song brings to mind one of the very few sendoffs I have ever attended. A former best friend of mine made the local media when she was killed by a drunk driver. I attended her service. She was engaged at the time of her passing. What really did it to me was turning around and seeing, all alone in the back row, her former boyfriend. He looked like a train had hit him.
Well, none of that is very PAWSitive, so I'll say that the PAWSitive is that I love and pray for all cats, here and up there watching over us, and also for all of my human and other loved ones, including that friend of mine.
*For Kathy. Forever 19.*

Thank you tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 very much :redheartpump:
May everyone who is left behind find solace.

My positive, not to repeat myself but I really don't think it can be said enough, is that the collection of people here, brought together on behalf of cats, is wonderful, amazing and incredible.
:sunshine: .
You're so welcome, Furballsmom Furballsmom . It tears your heart out every time. But in time, I at least find comfort in the precious memories, both in my heart/mind and the written and media ones. And I also find solace in knowing that the loved ones were truly loved, and cared for and about, while here; and that they have gone from this life, with its many complications, into something so amazing we can't even imagine it.
And yeah, I've sort of always put people in two camps -- those who love cats, and those who don't. I keep the former close as they are always, IMHO, good people. The others? I do business with some, and I might even regard some as friends on other levels, but there'll always be a line that they can't cross with me.
Because people who love cats -- truly love them -- are good folks. And that's PAWSitive for me.
Funny you should talk about organizing paperwork. At one time, I organized people's offices, and archives, for a living, as well as being an editor of manuscripts. I love stuff like that. Because when stuff is easy to find, and makes sense, it makes life a lot more PAWSitive.

I managed to go outside and have lunch in the sunshine today. Which is a positive for me; because due to a long time suffering from social anxiety, I've been unable to eat at a cafe/restaurant or go out independently.
aliceneko aliceneko - Good for you; sometimes just getting outside by yourself is better than socialising with other people. Now that I think of it, just getting outside by yourself is almost always better than socialising with other people.

;)

Outside in the sunshine a moment ago, the Firefall Maple displays the reason behind its cultivar name:

There's nothing quite so pawsitive in the Autumn landscape for my money.

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 thank you for your thoughtful compliment  How are your allergies?
Itchy, thank you, but the final tests are TOMORROW!

MEGAPAWSITIVE...my SS Disability backpay is here, and it is MUCH more than I thought! I am on hold with Legal Aid right now to make sure that I won't have to actually move, then be right back where I am in a year!

Before I catch a few Z's, yup check out the time, and it will literally be a few, that's fur sure.

Some really positive stuff! Hold On, .... Hold On, ... It's coming. I got's to drive in traffic this morning! Yeah, no kidding, really exciting and exhilarating stuff fur sure! I don't get out much during the day, but I didn't realize there are so many auto manufactures who don't include turn signals in their cars! I always thought that was a DOT requirement, installing turn signals in their cars? Well, I guess not, as there were quite a few.

You're on the highway, no worries, absolutely no disappointments. Car next to you accelerates, pulls in front of you, then slows down slower then the cars in the right lane. Yeah, like I said, exciting stuff!

Been out buying the kids snacks, and had to stop by Petsmart, Petco, and not one, but TWO Walmart's.

Gonna catch some Z's. It's been awhile since I had such an exciting day! ...

Positive, -->you-all, and a large furry cat who is completely unfazed by all the screaming going on in the movie the Exorcist (I just LOVE that melody they used  )
Just for you...Tubular Bells, Mike Oldfield. That's a Pawsitive! It pawsitively makes me shiver every time I hear it. I'm old enough to have watched The Exorcist when it first came out. Then went home and listened to a bare tree branch scratch on my window ALL...NIGHT...LONG!

:bicolorcat: If a moderator could assist me, I'd love to be able to use this fabulous icon of yours elsewhere; it looks very much like my Luciano. Please advise if this is possible - this would indeed be a big pawsitive for me.
I just did a quick test. I was able to copy the image and paste it into a facebook message to myself.

Aedan is being adorable and I got to sleep in today since it's John's day off. That's always nice.
Since everyone is sharing songs, I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and share a song I really like. It makes me cry - more so since I lost my grandpa a few years ago - but I think it's a beautiful song.

This is what they look like.

I actually saw "Tubular Bells" performed on tubular bells when I lived in Indianapolis DECADES ago. It was lovely. More Pawsitive Memories!
