Mr Duckworth is sitting on my lap watching tv. I always think it's cute when they actually watch the tv.

Thank you so much! I’m sorry for the loss of your father. I feel like I sound crazy when I say I think my sister sent her but it was just so weird how she came around a week or two after my sister passed and EVERYONE in the family loves her. She really helped me deal with my loss!!!Ashleyannmerk , what a beautiful, precious, adorable cat! I am very sorry for the loss of your sister. It does not sound weird to me at all that you feel your kitty was sent by your sister. That is exactly how I feel about my Speedy. I do believe my Dad sent her to be with me, for more reasons than one. Cats to me are so special, just look how they bring people together, just like on thecatsite! Their presence here with us is priceless.
I've given up trying to keep the cats out of the room when I'm teaching online. Every now and then a big fluffy tail will waft across in front of my camera and I just say "Oh excuse me, there goes the cat" to the student. There used to be software that was supposed to detect a cat walking across a keyboard. Earlier this week Mowgli managed to post a group hug smiley, , and it was absolutely fitting.
Honeybee makes miscuits on her blanket whenever i put her down on it. I love when she jumps up when I am sleeping and makes buscuits across across my belly. And the purring. Nothing like a purring cat. And i love seeing everyones posts! Keep posting folks!View attachment 211959 A super awesome PAWSITIVE thing happened tonight: Mog learned how to knead / smurgle / make biscuits from Lucy! He's been doing a bit of kneading as he settles in for bed, but mostly just for a few seconds - as if he's making a little comfy spot for himself. Lucy will make biscuits on her favorite blanket at any given moment: just set her down on her blanket and will sweetly nuzzle / suckle the faux fur material. She does this multiple times a day, and Mog would watch and purr along with her, but not partake. Tonight, however, he jumped up next to her on the blanket and started going to town! Lucy watched him this time, satisfied in her student's progress.
It's as if he is still learning, because his movements are kinda stiff and jerky....and he basically just pulls / chews on the blanket as if he's chomping down on some food. But I'm so happy and excited that he's trying, since I think this behavior is so adorable, and I know it means my kitties are relaxed, happy, and at ease. I'll try to share some videos soon!
That's a good idea! It's been so nice seeing all of the positive posts. Usually the negative threads take over and the positive ones get lost. Maybe we should try again to have a positive thread and keep it going through 2018?
