I think Leonard Cohen is just now really being appreciated. I hadn't heard this song but I like it. Thanks for sharing it.I have had a number of favorite songs over the years. My current favorite is Leonard Cohen's last one 'You Want it Darker'. I tend to always gravitate to the darker heavier music as a favorite.
well for country here's my favorite
Willie Pancho and Lefty
Reba mcEntire
Brad Paisley Whiskey Lullaby
Derks Bentley Settle For a Slowdown
Kenney Chesney One Step Up
my tastes are all over the place.
oh just found this song-love it
Forgot about Restless Heart and Shenandoah and Alabama, Clint Black and Garth Brooks. Willie Nelson of course. I am not too familiar with Merle Haggard but I am listening to it to make up for lost time. My dad only played country music in the 1980s so that's all I pretty much listened to as a teen other than a few soft pop and classic rock groups but I didn't like heavy metal until I was older. An acquired taste.
oh I found a list of 500 country classics for those who like a twang
