We are never not full for long! lol. We are just getting the senior dog and then the black and white cat who was spayed while pregnant today! Then they are going to arrange transport next week for the grey and white mom and her 4 oneish week old kittens, the 4 6ish weeek old kittens, and the black spayed adult.

Here is a picture of the mom and 4 one week old kittens we will be getting soon... We are still working on transport for these guys, the 4 6 week old kittens, and the spayed adult we will be getting! I am glad we didn't get everyone at once- it was craziness enough introducing one new cat and a new senior dog to the house! I worked/am working a 16 hour shift again (to help pay for all of these animals lol) and the boyfriend is home with everyone... he says everyone is doing well... adjusting.

So apparently the 4, 6 week old kittens were just left at the shelter without the mom. Do you guys think I should put them in the room with Sadie, Sabrina, and Sawyer? So that they can have "mom" figures?

How sweet! I'm only able to see one picture at the moment. May be a glitch.

How far away are the cats you'll be getting?

I don't know how you pull a 16-hour shift! More power to you though!

Just saw your next post. Yes, I think you should put them in with Sadie and Sabrina. See if it works out. If it does not, they still have each other.

Ok! I thought it might be good for Sawyer too since he lost his siblings to have some playmates! I don't think it will effect his feeding much because he just started eating wet kitten food!

We actually just got an email from the rescue coordinator that someone can meet us halfway tomorrow evening (so soon!). The entire trip is about 2 and a half hours.

Ok so change of plans... the shelter said that they couldn't get ahold of the people who had the grey and white mom and 4 1 week old kittens before their volunteer who was meeting us had to leave so instead we got this VERY pregnant tabby! She looks like Olivia did during her last week of pregnancy. I could see strong fetal movement in the car! The 4 6 week old kittens are with Sadie, Sabrina and Sawyer- Sawyer LOVES them! He is so goofy learning how to play, Sadie is trying to groom everyone but they are running around all over lol. Sabrina is supervising.

Aww, so happy to hear the kittens are with Sawyer, Sadie, and Sabrina, and doing well!

The tabby is definitely nearing the end of her pregnancy. Where have you put her and the black kitty?

The black kitty is out in my main living area with my other spayed/neutered adults, hiding under the futon for now. Pregnant tabby is in my bathroom by herself. For now I took the door off of the large cat carrier she was in and left it in there for her to nest in if she wants, I am out of nesting boxes

This lady's belly is so big! She has a few spots of fur that are a little orange. I am not sure how I would describe her color lol. A torbie? Everyone from today's transport is eating and drinking well.

She's got an interesting mix of color. It's a torbie - cross between a tabby and a tortoiseshell.

Glad everyone is well!

WWWWWWW! I adore Sawyer. Well, they're all cute as bugs, but little Sawyer has been through the mills, and is now looking so fine and fancy and HAPPY!

Man, your new mama is enormous! Yes, she's a torbie. Would you ever consider calling her "Blake," which can be a boy OR a girl name, because of William Blake's poem that says, "Tiger, tiger burning bright"? And the kittens could be named for poets (and if there is one VERY silly one, it could be either "Ogden" or "Nash."
