When I was first thinking of starting a thread regarding the long journey ahead, I turned to @Margd and @mrsgreenjeens to get some feed back as to whether or not this would be a good idea. I wasn't sure if people would be interested, not sure if it was appropriate for the health thread, or at all for that matter. And with their input and encouragement, I started telling "Simon's Tale" Or should say "Simon's Tail". LOL That was March 15th. and here we are 2 months later. I would have never imagined it.Oh my, what gorgeous pics of Simon! Thank you again so much for sharing him with us. This is truly one of the most beautiful threads I've been following. It's sad sometimes, but there is so much GOOD in here, and such an inspiration.
@Donutte You thank me for sharing Simon with you, but the truth is, I need to thank you and the members for allowing me to share my sweet boy with all of you.
I came to The Cat Site looking up info for my sometimes "sweet" baby Chestnut, thinking I would get some advice, she'd finish her med's, get over her urinary issues and I'd be on my way.
It never occurred to me that 4 months later I'd be part of a community that has been so very kind, supportive and accepting. I've made friendly connections with people in parts of this world, I never thought possible. To think Simon is getting positive vibes from across the globe, really blows my mind
@Margret I don't know if Reiki works or not, but Simon has been eating like a cow since you said you started. Coincidence maybe, who knows. All I know is I appreciate your efforts. For what ever the reason, the universe has been on our side... for now anyway.
For the sake of not leaving anyone out, the following is for All Members who have posted on this thread, gave my boy purraise and sent personal messages.
I am so very thankful for the overwhelming support you have all given Simon and myself.
I seriously can't find the words to express how much your support and kindness has meant through this journey.
To accept us as you have, and share with me your experiences and knowledge proved to be invaluable, giving me the tools to make decisions for Simon that make his daily life pleasant and playful.
You all have a hand in keeping my boy alive... and for that I will be forever grateful.
A special thanks to @Anne for giving me/us this platform to discuss our furry wee ones. You have created a very special community making our lives better, one hairball at a time. lol
