She gets Famotidine morning and night, and Cerenia just in the morning. Unfortunately she probably vomited some of them up this morning, but I'm hoping she had already absorbed most of them.Poor Mia! When are you giving her the famotidine? Switching it from morning to night for Sara made a WORLD of difference. She only had one pukey day since then. But she wasn't throwing up food at that point, just foam.
Yay that her liver is doing well! Have you been giving her subqs? For some reason I thought you were but I might be thinking of someone else. I would think that would help with the hydration if so. Does the IV treatment include nutritional supplements of sorts? Thanks! Her blood tests were good, her liver looks fine so no hepatic lipidosis and no feeding tube! She has been on an IV but still won't eat as of this morning. I'm picking her up around 3 and I picked up the zofran. So I still need to call my vet today but I think I will start again tonight with zofran, Famotidine, and syringe feeding, and subq and appetite stimulant tomorrow. The ER vet thinks that being dehydrated may have made her so nauseous so I'm hoping the IV really helped.
