Congratulations on a nice loss. I remember how excited I was the closer I got to kissing the 300s goodbye. I look forward to celebrating on here with you, when you reach that mini-goalWhat a good feeling Pat!!!!! That's wonderful to have such a good experience trying on clothes. That would be a nice change. Congratulations on four years of a job wonderfully done!!!
I lost 1.75 lbs this week. Less than 20 lbs to go to get out of the 300's. I want to be there by June.
I would LOVE my waist to go down..lol. Good for you! That's fantastic Pat. You are a champ. Woo hoo!!
My waist is down 2cm. That's a good feeling.
Congratulations on a nice loss! If you can know ahead of time what restaurant you will be going to, I would look up the menu online, and check if they have their nutritional information available. When I do this, if there is no nutritional information, I look for that dish/entrée at a comparable restaurant (myfitnesspal dot com while it has many silly entries for calories in a restaurant meal, if I check 2-3 that seem about the same, I know I have a good idea).Congratulations on your loss Pat! Losing weight while eating out is definitely a challenge. I'm going out to eat this Sunday and I'm really nervous about Monday's weigh-in because even if I still have a loss overall I usually swing up the day after, maybe due to sodium content in restaurant food?
I lost 2 lbs this week.
I am so sorry for your being ill. But congratulations on the weight loss I'm ye old broken record - I plan my easter menu to be on plan and have lovely, tasty food. You folks can do so too!Well done Parsleysage and Pat
Drum roll please. I lost a whopping 3.7 kilos from Saturday to Monday. From Saturday to Friday I lost 1.85 kilos through good nutrition/ low calories and exercise. Then as soon as I finished my last workout on Friday I came down with gastro. Oh boy that's a heck of a way to drop some weight. I'm taking the week off exercise to get well. then it's back to business as usual
Have a good week everybody.
For those of us who celebrate Easter we have a challenge coming up. i look at it as one day. One splurge then get back on track. At this stage for me the thought of cheesecake is not pleasant- I know!!!! I have been VERY ILL
Thanks! I definitely look up nutrition info and plan what I'll order before I get there - that's my usual practice although sometimes I just say whatever and eat what I want, lol. It's more that simply going into a restaurant regardless of calorie level tends to swing my weight up for at least one day. So if I eat out, I like to do it well before my Monday weigh-ins. So, that's why I'm nervous. But I will know even if I log a gain or stay the same "officially," that I stuck to my plan and my calories and that my weight will come back down. So we will see!

If not, I know my plan, and I look for 2-3 options for a full meal (yes salad or steamed veggie side dish instead for example OR entrée salad), that would be appropriate for how I eat, and I just write out what I can have for each option. Making my decisions ahead of time inc. if any dessert, lets me get there, look over my cheat sheet and choose from the options I've given myself, the one that appeals the most that day.
Try it, it works
